Why do people think...

Best ones are when i have a Tigers shirt on they say you follow tigers ( real bright) i just say is there any other team & they are usually stumped.

if that bloke was a manly supporter and didn't say anything then he is not doing his job. i expect every fan to get stuck into the up coming opposition.

general negative banter is unnecessary unless it's obviously in good humour.

I live just south of Wollongong and cop it about the Dragons all the time. I love it.

In my job i get offered tickets to watch the Dragons regularly. Some of them even own a shop in the shopping centre I manage … I politely refuse unless they are playing the Tigers.

On the office in my wall is a 2005 Premiership picture. I love the comments I get and it often puts meetings in a lighter mood by commencing with footy banter.

A recent similar example for me was when WTs played Penrith at Campbelltown. My offsider and I, decked out in full Wests Tigers gear walked from a few streets away where we parked towards the ground when we reached the set of lights at the intersection of Pembroke Rd and Rose Payten drive (leads from the M5). It is a busy intersection and we had to wait for a green light. The Penrith supporters bus drove towards us and as soon as they spotted us it was on, we copped heaps but we just laughed it off, it was funny the bus errupted in screams and jeers.

I was up the shops the next day after the final SOO this year and a little kid had a Queensland jersey on.

He was holding the hand of a "Yummy Mummy" and I said…"Oh no, not that jersey again"

She just smiled and kept walking...... :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:

I cop a bit of a ribbing when I wear my diamonds broncos jersey at work touch footy, then again it was shocker! It's a good luck charm cos I got my first hattrick in it
