Personally I'm feeling very optimistic about the tigers. For years they have been bound by cap issues, had a coach who just didn't seem to know the skill sets of his players and underperformed on field.
We are now on the cusp of announcing a coach I think is excellent and the perfect fit for them along with an opportunity to build not only a more cohesive team and roster but to bring in players with the right mentality to really shake the place up.
Whether or not the four players re-sign is far less important with the right coach in place. If they do stay they will be put in their place and will surely benefit from this as well.
Admittedly, it all hangs on the appointment of Cleary for me.
