I'd sign him for another year with us having an option for the 2nd year. If he doesn't play the 2nd year I'd have a job waiting for him within the club at some capacity.

I'd go down this same path as well Chris. It would be a reduced contract in terms of salary, but still far from minimum wage.

Barring Catastrophic injury, I would resign him just for his presence off the park. Lote is a solid performer and a great operator in the media.

I hope 2012 won't be Lote's last year at the Tigers. If he's fit and firing next year I'd love to see him sign for a further one year at a time.
