Literally every option is a better option. Or at least worth exploring. Wakeham and Laurie in the halves is worth experimenting with. Api looked at home in the halves for Fiji (with Wakeham), you could give that a shot with Simpkin at 9. Or give Simpkin himself a shot in the halves. None of these are ideal, but persisting with Brooks is not an option, the club will end up folding if we do.

I think Paws has been hit by the reality stick in the last 4 games,he is a strong supporter of both Brooks and the new coaching team...they have not only let him down but many of us seem to have been conned by the new flare,razzle dazzle play that we have been promised...maybe they should now concentrate on winning games by playing smart,mistake free football as a unit all on the same page..
 
far out how bout one of you coaches give him some time in reserve grade for him to gain some confidence at least without being under constant pressure and scrutiny, I don't rate him at all, but Sheens' argument to "give them time" in first grade is a bit hypocritical when the original halves pairing that apparently trained together all preseason was shafted after 3 rounds, so why does brooks not get the same deserved treatment

He is nowhere near fit enough for anywhere in first grade.

Barely kept up in reggies.

Your spine players need to constantly be on the ball and moving. He takes multiple plays off per set.

Honestly, he is a country league player. Not NRL.
 
Sheens already stated he is going to persevere with Brooks and Wakeham.
No idea what he needs to do to be dropped, but that'll be another loss, the games in 4 days and we've already pissed it away. FML.
 
Brooks can't win games.
He just doesn't have the intelligence or killer instinct to be a top tier NRL player let alone spine player.
Can someone please post the gif of him with his imp arms in the air being an oompa loompa for everyone's reference?

Brooks got the vast majority of calls in opp 20 on the weekend. Api hardly went to Wakeham.

Brooks prob for us is he is a massive negative as he kills the attack. 100 sets in opp 20 first month and yet to lay on a try.

It would be addition by subtraction even if we played me there...i.e. anyone.

It would mean maore ball for Bateman, Matamura, Api to create things.

BOTH tries on the weekend came in sets he did not touch it.

Surely Sheens notices this stuff... 🙁

Brooks there means 70% of our plays will end in nothing...
 
He's never getting dropped. I won't believe it until he's not on that list and doesn't take the field.

He's got to go down as arguably the worst player of all time. Most rubbish players don't last long so they can't do that much damage to their team. He's genuinely taken about 8 years of competition away from us. Yes the rest of the team has sucked and it's not solely him, but it's clear that no team could ever be truly competitive with him in the 7.
