Will Flanagans arrive @ club & is Brooks finally going??

I think this is an April fools joke that just gained traction because of gossip hungry tigers supports.
I don’t want flanno near our club and if it’s a deal that requires us to take both, then we run even harder away from it. It leads me to think that he is already willing to use his influence to get his son here.
but all just media shenanigan. I do believe rothfield and to an extent Kent must have some interest in him getting a first grade job cause they pump his tyres at every opportunity.

To trade out 2 key personnel of the club such as Madge and Brooks who have Tiger blood in their veins, proven work ethic and hunger for the clubs success, for a father and son duo who have suspect morals, a mercenary nature and questionable skills, seems completely desperate and a huge mistake to me.
I say stay the course and focus on building and delivering effort every week.

This club was stuffed well before he got here.Look at the standard of players we were getting to the club before he got here.
Robbie Rochow was a gem

Api & Paps might just be the best signings the club has ever made based on where they are in their careers

Not sold that Api isn’t past his best
Even if he plays at 50% of what he is capable of now he'll still be an asset... top 3 Penrith players in each game theyve won so far imo

I thought Paps might tank it this year for the scum but he's been good aswell

Good to hear. I haven’t seen their games closely tbf

This is just another clickbait article. There's no way that we'd be that stupid to bring in Shane and Kyle. As much as I believe that Madge has sent us backwards and Luke needs to move on to potentially find better form, this article is rubbish.

I wouldn't even swap Brooks for Thompson. Thompson is inconsistent and a grub that's spent 4 weeks on the sideline in 2020, 3 weeks in 2021, worst of which was the charge for eye gauging.

No thanks.

It's okay to say you don't watch him play.

He has it over them in smarts and durability.
I don‘t want to get painted into a corner where it looks like I don’t like him, because I do, but be honest. If you had the choice to bring either him or Harry here next year who would you choose

With the position we are in now, I'd still take Api....I think Grant still has a lot to prove imo

If you look at the penrith squads now compared to 3 years when they were near the bottom of the table (2019 i think?) they are vastly similar. One major difference for them heading into 2020 seemed to be Api

I'm not saying the same will happen to us lol but I reckon we have more of a chance of getting out of this mess with Api over Grant

This is the post of the week. Thx @Needaname .

The WTs have been a joke for many years. The changes required are in the standards and culture and this takes time.

We recruit like its Covid at Aldi. Taking whatevers left.

This is starting to change in 2023.

Im still a solid Madge supporter for a little longer.

He isnt a quitter and understands whats required to get this club out of its 15year rut.
Iam not sold on Madge, but sacking him now is not going to achieve anything. Any new coach is going to get the same results and we are back to square one in the re building phase.

It is going to take time and some really good recruitment to change our club..not to mention some luck from the injury gods.

I guess the next month will be the acid test for Madge, some hefty blow outs and no wins might test the clubs patience .

Maguire's only failure is he's inability to drop players, the tigers could easily be sitting on 6 points but Maguire continues to pick a player who simply has no idea of what he should be doing as the most vital cog in any NRL team. A player that touches the ball more times than any other player should KNOW what they are doing, especially their kicking game.

Given who is fit and available would you have dropped the halfback for Tuki Simpkins or Tom Mikele ??
