Will Lolohea last in the 1?

Tyson Gamble has played fullback in the QLD cup can kick goals maybe he will play fullback this year at some stage Ivan at Penrith moved Moylan in Reggies from 5/8 to fullback then first grade

Heard conflicting reports regarding Reynolds, out for 3-4 weeks & someone said 3 months, bit of a problem if he is.

Pretty happy we have someone like Benji as backup. He was exceptional today.

I think that Tui will go back and work on what he did good and what he did bad today. His vision in the try that we scored was correct and Chee-Kam shouldn't have been there, but at the same time he could've let the ball sing more on other plays when he went himself. Seems as if he's a work in progress, give him time and we'll find out whether he'll last or not.

I didn't think Lolohea was that bad. Made 140 metres and got away 3 offloads…Oh, plus he nailed it from the sideline to put us in front. I think it's safe to say he was told to drop some weight before he could get back into FG, and let's not forget he hasn't exactly played a lot of fullback recently. He'll be better for the run and will gain confidence, as will everyone in the team. I suspect our attacking structure will slowly evolve over the next few weeks so we'll see where it leads us.

Talked a lot from the back and off the ball…positionally much better..his spot to lose now..

That kick to win the match from the sideline will do his confidence a world of good.

Did anyone notice his setup for conversions he is doing alot less moving around and looks less awkward compared to 2017?

1\. Tuimoala Lolohea
6\. Benji Marshall
7\. Luke Brooks
9\. Pita Godinet

14\. Tyson Gamble

Round 2???

Might just be a good selection…..However how did killer go coming off the bench??

Tui needs to be fullback, if the Roosters continue to shop Ferguson around he should be a priority for the Tigers. Garner in ISP looks class

I agree about Garner very solid game from him

I cant see us making changes for a few weeks to be honest we just knocked off one of the top favs in the comp. To me the most notocable thing in the game was we dont go to pieces when we make a mistake.

We made some horroble errors but we just turned and weathered the storm. so good to watch our grit.

And i love how invested the other boys are even though they played reggies

Lolo looks unfit, Ferguson just breezed past him, made him look very slow.
Yes he kicked the winner, but missed one right in front at 2 all in the second half, he needs to lift his game if he wants the 1 jumper.
Thompson could end up pushing him to reggies, with Nofa who had a good game promoted.

Only could Tui win a game and still get questioned about his position.

If he kicked the easy one in front at 2 all we would have won without his fulltime conversion.
There is no way he is fit, he is slow, and more often than not threw a long pass to Thompson to return kicks.
This year we have options, and should use them if the player in reggies is showing more, Kev should be dropped, he made a host of really bad mistakes.

lolo was shoulder to shoulder with Brooks chasing Fergo down, was just Luke had the rails run to make contact. You can see it for yourself in the highlights package.

Somehow a lack of pace in that instance has become gospel, and Brooks is getting wraps when they we nose and nose…

Lolo was not catching him.

They may have been roughly neck and neck at the time of tackle, but Brooks did start metres behind him, thats why.

Furgo with Cronk was best for Roosters.
I think we were keen to sing him and we should pursue that avenue for next year as he’s off contract.
As for LoLo …. he seems lacking confidence and fitness.
All talk about WT chasing fullback signing .... might be the cause.
