Will Lolohea last in the 1?

lolo was shoulder to shoulder with Brooks chasing Fergo down, was just Luke had the rails run to make contact. You can see it for yourself in the highlights package.

Somehow a lack of pace in that instance has become gospel, and Brooks is getting wraps when they we nose and nose…

Lolo was not catching him.

They may have been roughly neck and neck at the time of tackle, but Brooks did start metres behind him, thats why.

the red boot in the top right is Brooks with a 3m start on fergo, already with the hammer down. Lolohea pushed Fergo across straight into his lane…

pay attention to the field markings Brooks is running down , Tui is face up and pushes Fergo straight onto Brooks running line… Fergo is running from Lolohea onto Brooks. Tui only pulls up when his running arc starts to intefere with Brooks running line.

next shot Brooks in line with Fergo who is beginning to turn to the sideline as he sees Lolohea coming across in cover

so to put it this way, for Brooks to be able to run in a straight line, it means Tui started further in field thus taking a longer run arc to shadow Fergos run, yet was shoulder to shoulder with Brooks, means he isnt as slow as is being protrayed. I think Tui has one of those deceptive running styles.

finally…. as you can see he is being mugged in here for having no toe, but its not true. He worked fergo right onto Brooks like a pro and pulled up to stay out of Brooks way.

I like having tui size at the back. He holds his own with anyone and wont get rag dolled like small full backs. Will help getting out of in goal.

I've been really happy with Tui's performances last year at 5/8 and his first game at fullback on the weekend.
He's becoming one of my favs.

Let's not start to bring facts in to argue a reasonable position.
