Will Sheens see this out?

I am beginning to think Tim Sheens would be regretting his decision to return to the club. He was originally employed in a pathways role before being quickly elevated to ‘king of football’ status. Our powerbrokers seem intent to throw him under the bus for any unpopular decision even when that decision was about to be made when he arrived. He now looks to be the remaining scapegoat and is preparing for 2023 without a head coach.

Will Sheens continue to wear the bruises?
There is one positive thing, He said that He is too old to care what others think.

This tells me that he WILL may some hard decisions.

I just hope they're the right ones.

Well Finest if they say no after 12 years who could blame them!
I would like to say that we could, the members and fans, and it may make some difference,
But of course the voices in the boardroom and the deceitful influence from the media are the loudest.

I do wonder if he followed those principles with Madge or if other’s opinions came into it? Not having a replacement ready to go? That’s the part I really dislike about this one.

It is a committee with the coach having the strongest voice. That chair on the committee has nobody in it, hence this thread.

At Rortsters Uncle Nick would get involved for ‘certain players’
I thought the point of the thread was whether or not Sheens would stick around long term? he's one part of recruitment and retention. players come for coaches, not the Director of Football.

He’s 71. He won’t see it out.

I don’t necessarily agree players come for coaches. Triston Reilly didn’t, anyone who played under Brian Smith didn’t.

Many blokes we sign come for $

As for the point of the thread, I just tossed up a question.

I’ll listen to any program when one of the leaders of the club decide to speak to members and fans. Doesn’t mean I have to think they’re great.
