Do you have the answers that were just asked? It may stop the reacting.
No I don't.

But I'm not leading the revolution.

If you want to tear it all down, don't you think knowing why it is that way is even a little important?

Nobody wants answers. Everyone perceives an agenda.

Rage on.

We all want to know. Conveniently for your position of retort you don’t know and most of us will never know.

No rage from me. Completely outside my control how the board acts.

What is in my control is whether I walk away from 25 years of enthusiastic support because there’s no hope.

No one is asking you to personally join the march - your position is clear - nor are they asking help from you to change their mind either.
You mighten be joining the march but you certainly have your own crusade happening on here
Carry on

HBG having any role with the nrl will ensure fighting and instability remains, the reported changes are totally insufficient and the rally must reflect this.
I just fear we won't get more than a few hundred, especially if the weather is poor.

I think the whole re appointment of Baz and 3 others is exactly for the reason of taking the sting out of the protest.
The casual will see this and think well that's back to what we had Minus Richo...might go and do the Christmas shopping.

They can sack them again later

It’s a clear PR stunt but what doesn’t get focus is the independents don’t have power anymore HBG will appoint more people to ensure they have power.

This is what all this is about - HBG lost power make day to day decisions and didn’t like it, their actions are very clear. We have gone back to how things were 18mths ago and now are no longer focusing running as a rugby league club.

I really don't know if I should engage, but I'll try one response and see!

Your argument that we don't know enough assumes that the anger is about the last 2 weeks only.

Here are 3 objective facts in the public domain relating to the period of HBG being majority shareholder which should be enough to cause concern for wests tigers fans, and for me and others significant frustration. You can check them, although I think you know arguing against them is taking the piss:

1. They have presided over the worst performing period of any club in modern rugby league. They have responded by recycling failed leaders through critical roles on the board, and signing off on the same with Sheens as coach who had reportedly sued the club. I won't list every controversial decision because done some are subjectively good or bad.

2. The club is the worst funded in the NRL, they are ultimately accountable for that. There are many solutions that owners could look at here other than tipping in their own cash.

3. Governance failures/poor commercial decisions. For example appointed major sponsor as chair.

On the above, if they've tried, they've failed. If they haven't tried or haven't thought about it, then Wests Tigers owners are satisfied with us being the poorest club in the NRL during a time where we have been the worst performing club. As a fan, you can choose to be angry about that or not - it's nonsensical, and yes it's trolling, to ignore it and keep pushing an argument like "but someone ask whyyyyyyyyy?" I don't need any information other than the 3 facts above.

Subjective points that I can't prove have an impact on football:

- Wests and Balmain crap
- constant in fighting leading to people fired HBG suing or ridiculing each other
- constant media leaks
- delays instigating and implementing independent review

Now we have the current situation, again it might be subjective as to whether anyone should care, but given the history I do, many WT fans do and even some neutrals do. I don't need you to agree with any of this, and will not go back and forth with you. I'm hoping you might stop making x% of the forum's posts basically all saying the same thing, because I like engaging with you and reading your posts on other topics and the ignore function is a useful but blunt instrument.

To all others, I can't make the march because of family commitments, good luck and go hard to all that do!

Yes this is all true. My frustration is people are only just realising it. It’s been going on for a long time now.
Sure the rally will attract attention to it, but don’t kid yourselves that it will garner widespread support through the game.
Wests Tigers fans already have a reputation as being the biggest sooks and loudest complainers in the game.
Neutrals get sick of hearing perpetual victims bang on about their lot in life.
Maybe if we didn’t whinge so much about how the refs and NRL conspire to keep us down we’d have a more sympathethic public ear?

I think neutrals firmly on the fans side right now, but these things turn if they drag on.

Let's see mate, I think PVL thinks he's fixed it but its probably worse than we were 2 weeks ago as its now reportedly a HBG majority board so I think at least one big effort from the fans who care enough and can make it is worth it.

I hope we have a good season on field, actually might motivate a private owner to pay enough. However, I am worried we are talking about extending a coach who should be under massive pressure because of "optics" - right now I'm in the minority on this issue but it's not a good football decision, and not trying to be as its purely political. These things worry me more than Richo (who I think is a loss).
