Never knew I had to subscribe totally to a certain viewpoint. Is this a forum prerequisite?

I must admit the forum is addictive and I've spent a little time going through the threads. However, it seems they are dominated by just a few users who seem to browbeat everyone who doesn't adhere to a certain narrative...................................even if like me they are supportive but hold nuanced views.

You also seem like this.

There also seems quite a toxic element of people who are just pushing their view and their ego.

This isn't what most fans feel.

I note only about 150 people attending or would attend if they could. That isn't a mass movement and just small scale and divisive, I'm happy with the changes decided for stability but seems a small minority on here want more instability.
Lol.

My solution would be not to boycott Tigers home games in fact the opposite, fill them out and at half time or full time let HBG know how pissed we are.

HBG out rally call all year and let them stew in the press week after week until it wears them down or someone with influence finally acts.
For those who feel strongly about it, that’s the best course of action.

As far as I'm aware, the only NRL CEO salary you can be sure of is the Broncos CEO as they're a publicly listed entity. He is on about 700 per the last financial report (likely more than that per this years performance).

The HB Group grant to the club per the last report was 1.7m, the NRL grant is 21m. So the NRL are effectively paying the CEOs salary.
It's like over paying players no one in their right mind who has achieved some career credibility will come to this club without being remunerated.
We are a career killing club - off the field and on- and yet some are still choosing to back the process.

Richardson bought us some credibility and he took control to do it.
HBG directors still were too concerned about the black and white instead of the here and now - playing out of Leichardt, and the orange in the jersey thorns in their side - yet celebrated by the fans.
Now we go into another season with distractions off the field and innuendo about players not being able to advance their careers at this club. Loyalty to coaches will not build a squad that can compete - successful clubs do that.

😆

You joined on Tuesday...

You're still carrying on, trying to downplay the support.

We're aware of what you and your other social media cronies have been trying to do.

You must have been assigned the 'Wests Tigers Forum' to muddy the waters and sow discontent.

Stamo, Marky Mac, Pies Dennington, which one are you?

Numpties, aye 😆
Keeping us all cranky was a good strategy 😅

Bahahahahah piers dennington...ill pay that

@simonsatiger I feel the same.
Keen to get a fuller understanding.

Interesting that you reference storming the bastille. That was an emotional reaction which gathered mass hysteria, prompting actions. All ultimately founded on incorrect assumptions.
Here's another metaphor...Burgess was the trojan horse on the WT that masterminded the takeover.

Isn't it interesting how supportive people were about all the stability we had, then HBG blow all that stability up and then people who want to return to the previous stability are being accused of wanting instability?

Sometimes I feel they come on here with the intention of trying to convert the place into a magpie's utopia, do they think we are F twelve.
I can tell when it's because of a lack of research.

Chad started questioning Epifania and surely he can be independent of HBG thought, but he hadn't done the research that he was a debenture holder and installed as Wests Magpies chairman in an HBG selected majority board.

This other poster is the same...forms an opinion on 50% of the information.

That much so that our head coach was just shaking his head about the unnecessaryness of it all in his extension presser.

If you read his body language, he’s as confused as us supporters are. Confirmed point blank that the decision was made for stability because of instability created by ownership.

Just wow.

It’s either have your say tomorrow and then get on with supporting Wests Tigers, or continue on this way and undermine decisions that have now been influenced by PVL and be part of the demise of Wests Tigers.
It is what it is, you can’t have an NRL team with no supporters, so if enough supporters allow this to continue being a major problem even after PVL’s intervention and follow through with threats to no longer support the NRL team, we will not have an NRL team for much longer.

There have been many examples of supporters of clubs showing their dissatisfaction of the ownership group. Sunderland til I die even documents it on film. A big, proud club falling to the third tier due to shit ownership in recent times, they've moved back into the premier league and competitive thanks to new and competent owners.

Just because it doesn't happen in Australia doesn't mean it is undermining or divisive.

The ownership group needs to share the values of the supporters. Owners are custodians. Without supporters, the club is nothing.

And HBG tip in less than 10% of the the total funding the club receives with the NRL and football club revenue being the greater contributors. But they've had control of the strategic direction of the joint that has seen countless coaches and staff sacked and paid out (not their money so they don't seem to care), and topped off their decade of decrepitness with 3 wooden spoons. That's three relegations in leagues that actually punish you for poor performance.

So HBG, pretty please, with sugar on top, fark off.
