Maybe Darcy and Blocker can put their hands in their deep pockets and fund the Balmain junior reps ?
We all know that won’t happen.
starting to thing your the most human of all the planted bots in here ,
How does anyone know they are not good for the club ?
You cannot just label every single person involved or associated with HBG as an idiot as not all of them have been directly involved for a long period of time and not all of them would agree with every decision that has been made.
Ex players could be a bit more knowledgeable about the game than what some people think.
buggered if i know im asking ,not in a position to answer Q's - are you

Out of curiosity does anyone think the likes of Epifania and Fallah have the right to be angry?
I don’t hold any grudges against anyone who attended or supported today’s protest, but surely at least some of Fallah’s comments make you understand why somebody like him would be angry ?
Can anyone blame the if they decide to cut the funding for Balmain because they feel disrespected ?
If that happens and there is no Balmain Harold Matthews or SG Ball teams it would be a very sad day and a big blow to Wests Tigers pathways.
I think what you've said here possibly gets to some of the root of the problem.

If HBG stop funding Balmain juniors- how would people feel about that?

We already know Balmain can't fund it. So would that just mean Balmain withers completely & all juniors come though Wests Magpies?

I think a lot of the angst from Wests/HBG comes from demands for them to let control of their financial investments go to others with no skin in the game.

I don't seem to get the point across as eloquently as Viscous has above though. But that's a valid point.

Those would be the actions of an 'owner' that hates the club and would probably be enough to have the license revoked.

And no that rant was thoroughly unprofessional, disrespectful and symbolic of someone who should have absolutely nothing to do with Wests Tigers, Wests magpies or balmain tigers.

With serious questions being asked about Wests Ashfield's professionalism and commitment to Wests Tigers surely now would be the time to finally start investing in the club and quit bickering.
It’s highly likely they will strongly consider cutting any funding they are not required to do if there is a continued push to remove them, rather than to have better people involved and get better.

Go ahead and back HBG all you like but don't misconstrue today's protest as divisive.

There's no divide, we all want Wests tigers. The whole point is to preserve Wests tigers.

None of us trust HBG to do the right thing, we've seen too many times the self interest and power play get in the way of the progress of the club.

Again, you have ever right to be an apologist for burgess and his buddies, but don't misrepresent the intention of everyone who showed up to back Wests tigers.
I originally planned to go to show my support for Shane. I too thought the dissolution of the board was uncalled for and hasty almost ridiculous really.

But look the way Vlandys' handled this shows that perhaps Shane isn't what I thought. And seeing initially Barry come out in support and then rejoin the board without Shane seems like there's alot we don't know.

Given it was said by the independent board members that everything was unanimous, it wasn't like the HBG members were dissenting or anything. Pop later told me that stadium matters were reserved for the ownership so perhaps they were bypassed and hence why it appears that Vlandys' seemingly siding with HBG with a return of control.........with obviously the caveat that 3 of the independents are to be rehired.

If everything was unanimous sounds like my guy Shane maybe was at fault.

Vlandys's is no fool and would've had all the information.

i didn't hear that anywhere
Read it again and rs-watch Paton’s statement from about 10 days ago.
Would you put your money into something you were not obliged to, if there was a push ti remove you without first being given an opportunity to change the way you do things for the better ?
I keep hearing they have been making bad decisions for 15 years.
The vast majority of people associated, involved and having any involvement on decision making from Wests Leagues (HBG) has changed quite a bit over the past 15 years, not always for the better, however I’m having an educated guess to say the ones making Wests Tigers related decisions now are very different those who were making the decisions last year or even last week.
In addition that that was signing Ivan Cleary to coach us or signing Michael Maguire to coach us bad decisions ? Was appointing Shaun Mielenkamp as our interim CEO a bad decision ? It’s clear that not every decision they are making is a bad one contrary to what some want to believe.

Which would be a further declaration of war, and Vlandys won't tolerate such incompetence.
Their mission is simple, stop sabotaging the club, invest in the club, make the club a success, and then allow independent directors to run the club as per the independent report.
Wests Ashfield already barely fund anything that isn't a poker machine or a chinese buffet for someone playing a poker machine.

Wests Ashfield don't have the skills, knowledge or temperament to run a professional club, the independent report confirmed this. History confirms this. The independents and Richo come in and for the first time ever under Wests Ashfield ownership we not only didn't lose money, we made $3 million in profit. Co-incidence?? No. It's what happens when capable people make decisions and not unqualified Debenture holders.

The juniors rep teams are the only thing Wests Ashfield still fund
So who will find it if it doesn’t come from Wests Ashfield ?
Would you be happy if there was no more Balmain junior reps ? I know I wouldn’t be as it I know what it means tj the young kids who play reugby league in the Balmain junior district, but if HBG co tiniest get criticised for everything decosionbthe make, why would they bother continuing to help ?

Richo is no dilberry either, there is something there that not many have a grasp on , yet , or ever

I’m a Wests Tigers fan mate so I’m not gunna lose any sleep about it..

But I don’t get why they would punish kids because someone else called them names ?
Pretty sure that is why they want a bigger say on the board though- because they are doing most of the funding (not grants etc) than the other side of the JV.

Part of the criticism is they supposedly don’t like the Balmain side of the merger, don’t care, don’t spend any money and do nothing to help.
Funding the Balmain junior reps contradicts those beliefs.

How could HBG have been bypassed when they were on the board? Or were they asleep, failing to show up to meetings or too busy on instagran and not paying attention to what was being discussed?
