Will you go to Vegas ?

Anyone here go to Huddersfield in 06 to watch Bradford flog us?

We watched at Ashfield they put on a breakfast before the game....was weird getting ready to go watch us play at 6am or whatever it was
Nope but similar to you I did go to Balmain Leagues to watch. Thankfully I was still living at Leichhardt at the time.

Not a massive Vegas fan but I suppose I’ll consider it as a once in a lifetime thing. Sydney-Vegas direct flights might help although it may ultimately be cheaper to go via Melbourne.

Haven't been but I hear Vegas is ridiculously expensive.

Coffee like 16 dollars
Not really bro . You learn quick that a main meal is basically like dinner for 2 , as is USA sizing , so I found myself ordering entrees a lot , and medium coffees . Also the coffee is gross , so most of the time you’re going without anyway .

Check out Lachy McIntyre's latest reel on Insta over in Vegas getting all & sundry to sign a petition to get the WT to Vegas and a few to ask Jahream to extend lol

The Wests Tigers have officially entered the race for Las Vegas next year, seemingly leaving the Dolphins and Gold Coast Titans locked in a south-east Queensland stoush for the final seat on the plane for the season opener.
Sources confirmed to Sport Confidential that the Tigers had informed the NRL that they wanted to be considered for the fourth edition of the Vegas extravaganza.

Parramatta and Melbourne are believed to be already locked in for Vegas after offering to take home games to Allegiant Stadium.

The remaining two spots are up for grabs but the Tigers’ decision to escalate their interest could be a sign that they have one foot on the plane.

That would leave the Dolphins and Titans locked in a battle for the fourth and final spot. Both clubs have made no secret of their desire to play in Vegas - the Titans had staff in Sin City this year to carry out reconnaissance in preparation for next year.

I doubt parra would want their home against us in Vegas as it’s a big $ game in Sydney .

Which would mean we get to break Bellamy’s rd 1 record in Vegas . How good 👍
Idk mate if I travel all the way to Vegas I want a reasonable chance of winning the game

The NRL cannot expect the vegas teams to play a week after playing in Vegas.
Theres always 2 weeks between rd 1 & 2 for those teams.
Thats what I meant
Yes Round 1 spans 2 weekends ( some call Vegas round 0 )

This year the cowboys played Vegas on March 1 & round 2 at Leichhardt on March 14 .

Not a great way for any team to start a season...
Well what they should do is repeat how did it in year 1 of Vegas

Vegas was
Manly v Souths
Roosters v Broncos

Then rd 2 ( 2 weeks later )
Broncos v Souths
Manly v Roosters

So the 4 Vegas teams swapped opponents making it an even playing field for them .

They went away from that in years 2 & 3 for some reason .

This year they gave a big leg up to the bulldogs by giving them a bye in rd 2 .

I have no doubt the Tigers will give up one of their home games even though two others are prepared to… it’s what they do
