Willie Mataka gone

Liam Fulton spent a year at Huddersfield and came back a far better player, at Willie's age perhaps the same will happen, after being given a little game time in 2009 he was completely overlooked by Shifty this year.

is definitely first grade standard but when you have such a strong team like ours you cant keep them all

a shame because he is very popular with the players

wish him well

I agree on both counts…

Very nice young man too...

Good Luck Willie...see ya back Fulton style in a year or 2...

I remember reading an article not too long ago where he said he was ready for the season ahead and was hoping to push into the top flight…

Shame he's moving on but he's 25 now and needs to take his opportunity elsewhere... good luck to him! Suprised no NRL teams poached him earlier tbh

he's a talent but i dont think we really need him at the moment. we already have alot of good second rowers. cant keep them all…

He will blitz the ESL but will always struggle in the NRL especially at the tigers. Hope he is getting himself some good coin

Fulton didn't improve in the slightest from the Huddersfield experience. He left a good player and came back the same.

What an interesting position we as a club are now ….

Decent players struggling to get a look in.
Im loving the heated debate in and around team selection

Bring on 2011

Fulton came back bigger, stronger, and with the ability to bust tackles, an ability he didn't leave with.

That was Nu Akeripa not Mataka!

Willie was not part of the top-squad for 2011!

Good luck to Willie over in the UK. A pity he wasn't used more by Sheens but hopefully he moves onto something bigger and better.
