Considering that we finished 2009 with Hanbury and Ayshford as our wingers and the general belief is that Tuiaki won't be ready, who do you guys think will wear No.2 and No.5 in Rd1\. I suppose it's from the following

Beau Ryan
Mitch Brown
Geoff Daniela
Josh Davis
Rhys Pritchard

Mine are Beau Ryan paired with ayshford and if Tuiaki isnt ready Mitch Brown i suppose with Lawernce.
It will all be changed around come round 6 anyway if Lote decides to jump in!

Lote will be a waste of time, he will give us publicity thats all. Just gonna ruin the combinations that have been 6 rounds in the making really.

agreed BT, Im just hoping Tuiaki makes a confident return

to be honest if our replacement winger, be it brown or tupou is in great form i wouldnt mind seeing tuiaki come in as 2nd rower or lock. Its where he debuted so why not put him back there, especially if he has lost as much speed as people are saying he wil.

Davis isn't a winger and never will be,, he's a centre ..

Agree, and I won't be surprised to see Pritchard on one wing either. He's bulked up and reportedly the fittest in the club at the moment, plus he's quick. If Tuiaki is not ready for round 1 then I reckon it's between Ryan and maybe Brown for the other wing. Tupou is more than likely too heavy to play wing at the moment and he's been training in the forwards apparently.

Brown, I have noted to have some decent ball skills. I see him adding a bit more value than just on the wing.

@ just shy of 100KG I see him as a good Centre Partner for Lawrence

Although Junior Roqica is probably not one of the first wingers to be picked this year I would love to see him get a run i first grade. I believe this kid has a big future.

junk wingers to start the year. cant believe how restricted our backline is. at full strength it looks okay. a few inuries and we have junk to back them up.

What the hell do you mean by saying junk wingers to start the year,YOU OBVIOUSLY dont know much about talent or football , Can you explain about who your refering to and why.?

i think beau ryan will definitly hold one of the wing spots,i dont know alot about pritchard?not sure who shifty will play there but it is only for the first few games till tuquri arrives.

I wouldn't hold my breath for an explanation. It's a pretty ridiculous statement to begin with.

His future won't be on the wing, it will be in the forwards. He had no real top end pace in the grand final for BRET last season and is now reportedly tipping the scales at 104kg at only 18 or 19 years of age.

To quote Phil Gould "no no no no no" why would you want Tuiaki shifted from the wing into the forwards, he's devastating on the wing and surely he's not going to lose that much speed. He wouldn't cope in the forwards it would sap too much juice out of him and we wouldn't get to see him steamroll people because he'd see no open pasture, i dont think he's suited there keep him on the wing.
