Did you know Australia has two athletes competing in the newest Olympic sport, Ski Mountaineering!
Ski mountaineering - or “SkiMo” - will make its Olympic debut at the Milano Cortina Games, marking a major shift in how the world sees mountain endurance sport.
Representing Australia in this inaugural event are two athletes with very different paths into the sport: four‑time Winter Olympian and just the second Australian to compete at two winter Olympic sports Phil Bellingham, and trail runner, SkiMo‑specialist and Olympic debutant Lara Hamilton.
