Woods, Farah & Lawrence in the Kangaroo Train-On Squad

Watch him kill it outside a decent halves pairing, on the back of good go forward

Agree. Woods and Farah's selection is thoroughly deserved though.

You guys are kidding right? He might not set the world on fire but he's a solid centre.
People have high expectations I'm guessing from what they've seen in previous seasons.
Which other centre is decent out of the teams left?

Lawrence was lucky to even play first grade this yr. The poor kid is never going to be the same. Simon Dwyer on a much smaller scale

Extremely harsh on a bloke who has fought back from a hip dislocation. Yes he had a year to forget but to even compare poor Simon Dwyer to Lawrence is disgraceful. Lawrence still has a bright future in the game while Dwyer may never play again!

ummm…Hodges, Ingliss, Morris are all twice as good and then a couple of others are as good. Thoroughly undeserved appointment.

Congrats to Robbie and Woodsey, they will both play more footy this year.

Lawrence is the RickyStuart of the Tigers it's all about who you know!

X1

You come back from a hip injury, play a couple of ordinary games and it warrant a test guernsey? Hopefully it was to boost moral as opposed to being selected on form or 'potential'

Woods and Farah may get a gig in the PMs team, but none of the 3 will make the Aussie team unless there are injuries during the finals.

There will be only 4 players in the running for the Bench Utility spot for the Test. I'd say alot will depend on the Final Series, but Robbie scored alot of points for his efforts in SOO this year.

I think it's between Robbie; Gillette; DCE & Barba

They may give Robbie his reward in the PM's game by naming him Captain?

Everyone freaking out over lawrrance he hasn't made no Aussie squad it's the train on squad for all teams who don't make the 8 and will add on each week when teams get eliminated… Just name some centres at the moment who's team didn't make the 8 that are better or on par with lawrrance, I can only think of Jennings when in form... It's a good thing anyhow it's just training congrats boys it's a shame KG didn't make the training squad

Jennings and Idris along with Lawrence were the only Centres named in the squad.

Lawrence should be focused on getting over his injuries and come back 100% next season. He looked busted from the trial matches.
Woods will be on the bench in the test matches and will never look back. The next Artie.

It is a training squad, given he toured last year and played strongly, I think being named in the train on squad is fair enough.
He wont make the final squad, unless injuries open up the path for him.

Farah will tour and Id love to see Woods grab a spot.
