Woods-form is temporary, class is permanent

Aaron was probably drifting a little in the first couple of rounds and was copping a fair bit of criticism for his performances on here…..

Always knew though he'd come good and shine through like he has for us over much of the past 3 seasons.....Can't keep a good man down for long and hasn't he been sensational over the past month?.....

Was always gonna be hard for him to excel when our forward pack was a one-man band for so long and now that he's got beyond reasonable support is exceeding the lofty heights he reached towards the middle of last year.....

Much deserved MOM award yesterday in a game where they were many worthy candidates and I would be stunned if he isn't picked for the test match in 2 weeks.....Fifita's been bog stock ordinary over the last month (playing very similar to his last year here; lazy, disinterested and crabbing) and this alone will hold him in good stead for selection.....

To be honest I haven't seen him getting stronger. He's always at that higher level.

I thought he was a tad rattled after last year's SOO series and understandably so given his age and the enormity of the occasion…..

I thought he was solid without playing like his usual self in the first two rounds of this season but he's really stepped it up since the duel with the Burgess boys in Rd 3....He's leading from the front and become more aggressive in everything he does since that game IMO....

Can understand why you're confused guys because there's very little disparity between Woodsy's best and worst games, I just felt he plateaued a little for a while there but is now reaching the heights we all expected him to.....

Seriously, how did he get MOM last night?

Hayne was by far the best player all game and woods was below his best.

Richards, Taupau and Sitaleki were all far better than woods

thought yesterday was actually his worst game of the season in attack.

in defense, he gave away his regular couple of penalties but overall better than usual.
