Woods v Keefy

I noticed last night that Woods is off contract next season and with Keefy off subject this season it may come down to a decision of keeping one and losing the other

So if it came to the crunch and you had to keep one who would it be ??

Keefy or Woodsy ??

Well, It shouldn't come to this surely, but it's a no brainer- Woods is the present and future and IMO one of our most valuable players already… He is an absolute must keep and you get the feeling he loves the club so as long as we look after him he is quite likely to become a Wests tigers legend... Woodsy is a very rare talent... What a player he is!

But I think if we really want both players we could make it happen on terms of $$... Galloway is also very important but sadly his injuries are starting to become an issue... When he's fit he's a crucial part of our team...

No you haven't sent it yet  .Just answer the question Snow

We don't need a drug test, just ask someone this question and if they don't choose Woods….they are high.

Ideally, we need both though. Woods on the longest deal we can get, and Keith on a 2 year deal, maybe 3 if he won't go for anything less.

If it is purely down to Woods or Keef then there is only one obvious answer. Woods

The decision on Keef I think depends on whether we are able to sign a decent experienced prop before 30 June and I think that's what is delaying 'negotiations' as we need someone to guide the younger props in the next year or so .

On JW ..think it will be the other way around so will PM you my PO Box details on the weekend. Of course, we could agree to go double or nothing on the senior SOO result if you are game.

This is more or less how I feel. If I had to choose, I'd take Woods, but there's all likelihood we can keep both and we should if we are able to.

A no brainer Woods for sure , this guy will end up playing 20 + games for the blues and at least 15 for Australia by the time his Career is over (my opinion) .
Props for the Blues this year will be Tamou and Woods ( Woods has been better than Grant from the Panthers ) the only question mark is going to be is Laurie Daley gonna play Gallen in the front Row ? Worst case scenario will be the rotating Prop from the bench .

Love to have 'em both stay in the side. Both add impact and value to the team, not just physical attributes but mental, pyschological. Keefy has been around for so long now, would love to see the bloke end his career here if he can keep form. And Woods, purely is our enthusiasm, our passion. The blokes need a guy like Woods long-term. And one day Woods will be the one guiding the younger kids and giving them passion for the game.

Go the SAUCE adds size to our pack, adds aggression to the pack, adds experience to the team, provides leadership especially for the young blokes, rep talent, a fixture at Campbo, Leichhardt and the SFS. The increase in the salary cap will make the chances of keeping Keefy a stronger possibility if that's what Potter and Keith wants. WOODS however is too good to let go for all the reasons written by other contributors to this forum and wider. Not a trick question Happy if forced to choose it would be WOODS imo but still want the Sauce with that.

I like both but if push came to shove, I know who I would chose.
… clear winner, @Woods.

Woods by a landslide. He is as good as Keith right now, and Keith has alot of years on him. Lock him in on a long term contract, 4-5 years. Once he plays Origin, his worth will go through the roof and we may not be able to afford to keep him as long as we would like. He will eventually be Farah, the heart and soul, the leader of the Wests Tigers. ….......But I would also love to keep Keith, he is also a big impact player. Woods just has so much more potential.

Mr Humphryes and Potter, get it sorted sooner rather than later.

I want to keep both ( and bring in another experienced head to help) but like most if I could choose one then woods

If we can't keep two fringe rep props in an era when we need them then I'll be a monkeys uncle. Galloway is only dragging it out because he knows we need him.

Yea defiantly woods over Keith but don't be surprised if Keith is pushed out maybe at the end of the year as he is injured a lot the last couple of years, I think that the tigers are thinking that woods and Buchanan are the future starting props
