Slothfield has the Origin team….he is mates wit Daley, who also works at Fox, so dont have to be Einstein to work out it is the real team.

Honestly, Kurt Gidley…........I just dont get it. He is barely NRL level yet plays every rep game.

Lewis to the bench in place of Gidley, Gallen to the back row, Woods in.

Farcical.
 
Woods has hardly been able to train due to his knee you can get away with that at nrl level but not in ur first origin
 
I wouldn't read too much into this until after Sunday night, the team will be very similar however.
But Maloney? Honestly?

2\. Bird. Gidley and lewis are not nsw's best!
3\. Woods is one of the best props in the game atm (see SC/DT stats)
4\. Where is Fensom, Merrit, Tolman and both Reynolds?
5\. Why is watmough on bench?
6\. Gidley.... surely Mateo, J Reynolds, Hindcliffe would of been better utilites.
7\. we have one goal kicker.... qld will have 3-4 .....
8\. i dont care what anyones says pearce is not nsw's answer to the number 7\. Adam reynolds is better and should of been there.
9\. they wanted the same side but a few changes... thats fair if nsw was close to qld's standard. not sure if you guys watched last game of origin but the only reason why is was so close is because qld played so poor. they dropped alot of ball. can you really see them doing that this year... i think not.

If Daley has leaked the side to Rothfield he is a bigger fool than even I believed he already was

Why would you give Meninga and the brains trust an extra 4 games to help prepare a game plan

Then again it is Laurie Daley we are talking about

hayne isnt a centre thats true but i have seen him play there before and he can play 1 thru to 5\. i honestly think he would do great there. better then wing like previous years for nsw and lets face it… if anyone is gonna give slater a run for his money it would be dugan. Hayne hasnt done it yet for nsw and was out classed against melb in grandfinal.

Haynes best performances post 2009 have been for NSW.

Dugan has been ordinary for the last 18 months (when he was actually on the field), a one off performance on return for Dragons is a long way from dominating Slater in an Origin match.

Hinchcliffe? I'm no Gidley fan but Hinchcliffe? Surely not. We don't need another Buhrer selection howler

Bird has been consistently one of NSW best and deserves to be there.

Mateo? Who's he again?

Cordner (I'm a massive fan of his, has tonnes of ability and is in amazing form, would love to see him get a crack)

Woods is one of many who are unlucky, probably a victim of the side being out of form.
 
hoffman will be a mistake if picked. gallen is not a prop. gidley is s***.
what did tim grant do wrong in origin last time? he was amazing.
i still think carney should be in origin.. and i dont rate him whatsoever.

everyone is fit from last year's origin except stewart.. why the need to chop and change so much?

should be the team. Gidley is terrible, carney has magic and gallen is a lock not a prop
 
Why be surprised at Woods missing out? Daley is a Tigers hater and always has been. He would get rid of Farah if possible. No souths players yet they are red hot. The only thing I think odd is that the standard 'bolter' from Manly isnt here. No Jamie Buhrer, No David Wolfman Williams, No Josh Perry, No William Hopoate, the list goes on. Im surprised that Brent Kite or Jason King haven't got a gig.

Its a boys club and lets face it, we just aren't in it.

Agree mate, halves could crumble way too easily.
Maloney looks like the type that will start crying if the going gets tough and if we get dominated like we do then i'm not sure if he will be able to cope. anywho thats my 2cents worth of opinion that doesnt change anything.

Whislt im at it, i do not rate Giddley, IMO he is just hogging a spot and doesnt bring anything special to the team. Not the impact player you need off the bench
