Not exactly my side but a fairly awesome one tone honest. Only change I might have made is perhaps Gallen to back row and Mason in with Hoffman dropping out. Woods has been playing injured all year as I've said previously you can't start your first origin with a bung knee and Fifita is fit and firing. As for Gidley he provides experience and utility value that can't be matched by NSW.

Disappointing for the Woodsman, but i think the real disgrace is Reynolds being overlooked for Pearce.

Swap Gidley for Tim Grant and it is a very good side. I am not sure about Hoffman though. For me he is a tried, tested and failed Origin player who lacks the required impact.

Well the good thing for those that care, there will be some good cheap tickets going for game 3 in Sydney. NSW 2 zip down and ANZ will be a graveyard.
Personally looking forward to our next game at Penrith. Origin is a unwanted distraction that every year completely swamps the NRL.

Game 1 last year proved carrying a utility was a mistake. Lewis can cover an injury in the backs and Bird can cover an injury in the halves. Besides that, you can't go in to these games on the basis of "what ifs" .. Pick your best 17.
