Didn't the pom say we're chasing a big game player, 2nd row forward.
I guess it's much needed.
Seyfarth is an absolute gun.
He's always involved.
High energy, passionate.
Did anyone see when he said something to Gutho when he was laying down and it upset Moses?
Might’ve been another Kikau like spray.
Seyfarth looks like he cares about the result. That’s so evident because we rarely see it from our team..
It's refreshing.
Douihei the same.
Farah, in recent years.
Love it.
Passion.
I reckon my boy Twal displays much more passion. Doesn’t necessarily have the skill levels and this is where we fall short, imo.
People paying out Garner when he’s injured
LL’s been cooked for several weeks now. Brotherly love...
What was Garners excuse when he took a carry got driven back and threw the ball away ? Wasn’t hurt then. Was he even hurt?
Garner has been good for the most part of the season but today we got bashed ..
I believe Lucy plays too many minutes and should have a spell on the bench but that comes down to poor coaching
Joffa has been a dud buy imo
Not worth slitting your wrists over it .
Sensible post, i like Garner runs great lines but is lightweight
Lucy definitely needs a spell. 60min back rower for me. I did notice him moving around looking for the ball a bit which was good to see
Runs great lines. When there is nobody in front of him maybe. Took a hit up today, seen two forwards in front of him, propped and stepped left straight into Dylan Brown at first marker, who smashed him. Turn it up he’s not tough enough to play first grade.
Mate your emotional because of today, it's okay.
Since his Rd1 shocker he's been solid every game, including his defense.
I dont think he's elite tier backrower due to size but he hass been in good form
Definitely emotional can’t deny that.
But I watch him closely because I know he’s a liability, he’s soft and lacks ticker. It shows up when

I repeat what I said many times on this subject.
Play Lucy and Garner as game opening back rowers and be prepared for a loss.
Back row and lock are our club great weakness and we won’t be anywhere near the top side until that issue is addressed.
Least feared NRL side in history
Not even the least feared side this year.
Because we’ve beat up on 3 injury ravaged teams?
Seriously, the Bulldogs are the worst team I have ever seen, they try hard they just have nothing.
They can’t score points, that’s their issue. I’m talking about a lack of forwards who intimidate people. When Twal and Seyfarth are your best it’s a concern. Hetherington beat up on us last year.
We don't have any impactful forwards, the only one that winds up is Mikaele but we dropped him. The way to win games at the moment is to run and tackle hard, scatter the defensive line and get a fast play the ball or a 6 again, we don't have players who play with that style.
I started playing juniors in 1988 and I think that’s always been the way to win. It’s a mental game as much as physical.
It hasn't always been the way though, during the wrestle that style of play wasn't as beneficial as it is now. Sure players that ran hard and damaged the line were good players but you can't win now without them.
Try out wrestling Brad Clyde, Gordon Tallis, beau Scott, Boyd Cordner. Mentally tough back rowers win you games.
They were all amazing player but weren't all the really damaging runners of the ball. Gordon Tallis would be great under these current rules.
shame to hear about Cordner's retirement.
I’m really talking about scaring people, not just running hard. Parra were pushing each other out of the way to run at us. We’re not a pack that has any sort of reputation and I’m putting it mostly on our back row who prefer the pretty stuff.
Yeah I just think we miss that really damaging runner more than anything, you really need 2 or 3 of them in the current game and we have about 0.5 in Mikaele.
I think we get up the field ok with the ball. Our middles are ok. It’s stopping the opposition roll on that stuffs us. The forwards are licking their lips as nobody is up in their face threatening to break their ribs.
Yeah mate, I've been saying it all season, we don't run hard enough and we don't hit hard enough. The modern game isn't just about racking up metres, a lot of the game now is won in the collision.
Spot on. Arthur talks about Parra wanting the collision when they play well. They clearly did today.
The one thing I do like about the new rules is it has taken that important aspect from the ruck and now put it on the collision which is better for the game. Though I think that could have been achieved in other ways.
If I’m running the club our back row next week would be
11 tuilagi
12 Luciano - in short bursts with Blore
13 Sam Burgess
Burgess free rein to hurt
Im glad you are not running the team. 😛
I was waiting for that one. Burgess probably past it but played the game with the exact mentality we don’t have in our back row. Couldn’t do worse than ‘cool hand luke’
