Worst fans....

…. I had to say this... sorry if it affends some people... but some of our fans.... must be the worst fans in the NRL.... i mean after 2 loses in a row.... 4 wins from 7 games.... people want sheens & royce to be sacked ??? .... i understand they make some stupid desicions... but we didnt lose against the panthers because... fitz was at 5/8.... or because laz was at fullback.... we lost because of stupid penalties and dropped balls.... some of our fans are already writing us off after 7 games and we've won 4.... i mean what the hell ?!?!? ..... some people just need to have faith.....

I don't mind when people criticize Sheens and his decisions. Not everyone shares the same opinion and that's fantastic. What irks me is when we lose certain people suddenly come out of nowhere and cut loose bagging everyone and anyone involved with the club, players and coaching staff. When we win, these same people seem to go missing, only to appear when we lose again. It's like they thrive on us losing. That's what infuriates me the most.
 
Yesterdays loss and the reaction for me was far more about reverting back the same crap we have puled in the past.

If Lazarus was played at half and it didn't work as a fan I can handle that considering the current injuries in the halves. What I can't handle is moving Farah into a quasi halfback role, Fitzy into the halves and Ryan away from fullback.

It was just terrible and showed nothing has been learnt from the failures of the past doing this eaxact same thing.

It is not about faith or even whether we make the finals it is about constantly repeating our mistakes.

If you think Royce Simmons brings anything to this team than I doubt your brain capacity
 
Putting this game into perspective:

The first half was pretty good and when you consider the stupid things the PLAYERS did in the second half and the strange positional play made by the coach we still really weren't to far from the win. Also consider the Panthers form.

Things can be turned around without too much trouble IMO.

PS, anyone watch the game after? now that was crap.
 
As fans we want the club to go forward and win the games that should be won. I think even if we had won last night there would still be plenty of people on here (me included) questioning the selections of players in key positions and why we have players on the bench who play three minutes. I think we are the best fans in the comp. We follow the team to 3 home grounds and on the back of two losses, will next week pack Campbelltown Stadium and scream the place down to try to get the Tigers home.
 
Yeah well mate, we have the right to be the most unloyal fans in the league, because every team except us and penrith have made the finals for the last 5 years. so it's about time people start expressing their opinions and saying stuff that every single fanboy on this forum wants to say, but doesn't have the balls to say!

you know why??? because this looks like 9 out of the last 10 years where we start off good and fall apart and slide down the ladder its the same thing every year the same mistakes every week, and after this year we will be the only team not to make the 8 in the past 5 years

that is why, fans are sick of the same mistakes the same players being picked that have failed at halfback for 6 years Fitzhenry, we want changes we want success we want the same old mistakes every week we see gone

its just not going to happen its like a broken record things will not change

You have to understand that this frustration isn't only about this season, it's built up since 05 and possibly as far back as the merger and the more years that pass by that we don't make the semis and the same crazy team selections, positional changes and errors in our game happen the more us Passionate Tigers fans will continue to vent our frustrations on this or any other forum.
It is our right as Wests Tigers supporters to let people know how we feel, we wouldn't waste our time if it didn't mean something to us. So take it as you like but this forum is here for us to have our say whatever that may be, i for one call it as i see it and if it's taken as negative or people want to say i'm not a supporter then i don't care because i know i am and thats all that counts.
 
it's just that the last 2 weeks have looked remarkably like the last 4 years. I have 'faith' but am also frustrated. I really hope they can turn it around next week.

Agree 100% Smeg. Dropped ball and a forward pack which has struggled the last two week notwithstanding, Sheens really did stuff up those positional selections which has really hurt the side too. I mean until last night Sheens was playing players in their correct positions, and then all of a sudden we see Lazarus at fullback, Ryan back to the wing and Fitzy in the halves :brick:

There's going to be hell to pay if he runs the same team out next week in the same positions.

Maybe we are the fans that aren't content with mediocrity … because that is what our team has become .... every seasin since 2005 has been mediocre .... players push passes and give away penalties because they are frustrated .... like us

"mediocre" - average or uneven quality, middling, patchy ....... sound familiar?
I don't want the coach sacked, i just want him to select the right players for the right positions and blood some new talent.
 
ditto what others have said… the problem is it's the same crap we've been seeing for years now. Personally I thought we had turned the corner and had seen the last of player shuffling, here's hoping it won't be happening next week, except moving Ryan back to fullback!
 
the forum is a great place to vent, frustration/anger/dis-appontment/opinions on how our beloved wests-tigers are going. we know the team can perform well, would be good if that was consistent.
no use having a great first half against one team one week , and a good second half against another the following week, needs to happen in same match.
yes it appears the halves have no direction at the moment.
pick a team and stick with it.
