The outcry is a culmination of the last 5 years of unsatisfactory results, and yes the blame sits with the coach

Injuries? Coaches responsibility to ensure depth in the team
Pushing Passes? Coaches responsibility to instill discipline
Giving away Penalties? Coaches responsibility to instill discipline

I beleive Sheens has more power at this club then Humphrey's. Other sports have shown us how that can be beneficial (See Sir Alex Ferguson or Jose Mourinho), and Sheens has shown us what the other end of the spectrum looks like.

…. I had to say this... sorry if it affends some people... but some of our fans.... must be the worst fans in the NRL.... i mean after 2 loses in a row.... 4 wins from 7 games.... people want sheens & royce to be sacked ??? .... i understand they make some stupid desicions... but we didnt lose against the panthers because... fitz was at 5/8.... or because laz was at fullback.... we lost because of stupid penalties and dropped balls.... some of our fans are already writing us off after 7 games and we've won 4.... i mean what the hell ?!?!? ..... some people just need to have faith.....

This is coming from a fan who is trying to create a supporter group but doesnt attend away games. I ask you this, what type of supporter lets there team fail 4 years in a row after winning a grand final and still supports the coach. How can you have faith after 4 fails in a row… but if that tickles your fancy...

I don't mind when people criticize Sheens and his decisions. Not everyone shares the same opinion and that's fantastic. What irks me is when we lose certain people suddenly come out of nowhere and cut loose bagging everyone and anyone involved with the club, players and coaching staff. When we win, these same people seem to go missing, only to appear when we lose again. It's like they thrive on us losing. That's what infuriates me the most.

Thats true, but it doesnt apply to this week. What Sheens did was inexcusable and we have every right to give him a serve over it.

It starts and ends with Sheens. He recruits, selects and retains the players. I'm not going to criticise a player though for giving 100% and playing to the best that there ability allows. After all the player doesn't select himself & doesn't write his own contract.

ditto what others have said… the problem is it's the same crap we've been seeing for years now. Personally I thought we had turned the corner and had seen the last of player shuffling, here's hoping it won't be happening next week, except moving Ryan back to fullback!

The reason you want Ryan at fullback is because Sheens shuffled the team around and found that Beau was solid back there. I agree most of his player shuffling has not worked but give him credit where its due.

I wanted Sheens gone straight after the Newcastle game in 2007, and I've not changed my mind since.

Two weeks ago with Lui and Moltzen injured and Lazarus named at half, I thought we had finally turned the corner in regard to ridiculous team selections.

But this week has confirmed that isn't the case, moving Ryan from fullback was absolutely ridiculous and anyone who thinks otherwise hasn't been watching the same games for 8 years as I have.

We've gone through players, CEOs and various other coaching staff but one fact has remained for the past seven out of eight years of failure and that's Tim Sheens and his DUMB selection
decisions.

Groundhog day yet again. Sickening.

As i mentioned in another thread, Ryan looked to have seriously injured himself(ankle?) in the pre-match warm up. Not looking for excuses, just thought that could've been the reason Ryan was shifted to wing, Lazarus to fullback and Fitzy to the halves as a last minute shuffle.

I usually try to be positive, but I have to agree. Sheensy's constant need to shift players around and experiment is utterly frustrating. That, and his 5 minute back on the bench when there are 2 small skillful second rowers who can play in the back row.

I thought we had too turned a corner with Lazo's selection, even if Fitzy was selected on the wing.

Everyone was calling for Moltz 7, Morris 15, Benji 6, Gallant 1, from the START of last year. Way before Sheens tried it. If he had that combo from the start, going on the form, we could have been top 4.

If Sheens chooses players in their position and loses. I'm ok with that. But his experimentation is killing the supporters and I think probably killing the motivation of some of the players.

If he fixes those two stupid mentalities, I would be happy if he resigned. But he just doesn't learn from his mistakes.

King of kings….we have the best fans of a Rugby League team in the WORLD....if you followed Wests or Balmain and now the Mighty Wests Tigers since inception you will understand....

When we loose ...given history it's every Wests Tigers fans God given right to lay into Sheens want him sacked...

I like many wanted him gone on that black day in 2007 just like Hybrid...

Then I see some say it's not the players fault...Sheens selects them....they are playing to the best of their ability etc...

That seems to only apply to the players though....All this anger at Sheens is always misdirected....He didn't select himself the Wests Tigers Board of directors did and have continued to do so extention after extention....makes me laugh....

I take your point, but if Ryan wasn't fit enough to play fullback he shouldn't have played at all.

We had Mitch Brown as a reserve, so he could have slotted straight in at the back. A fullback for a fullback.

But that's too hard for Sheens to grasp and we had to re-organise the whole structure of the team.

No excuses, it's absolutely pathetic. If it was a one off I would be inclined to excuse it but it's just the same crap over and over again in a different year.

Well Ryan ran out the injury after a bit of guidance from the trainers. So who knows what was said by Ryan himself who may have declared himself fit enough to continue on. Players tend to do that a lot.

and some of us want him gone, win or loose. And for that we are on mod reviews… Speaking of mods better be careful by saying u want sheens out u may end up on reviews too... YEA RIGHT!

I said I wanted Sheens gone in 2007 but in the infinite wisdom of the Wests Tigers board of directors they gave him an extention and then after missing the 8 the next 2 years gave him another one…

What makes me laugh is the anger directed at Sheens whether we win or lose.....

Can't you see how misdirected it is....or is it personal between you and Sheens REHAB.....

We don't blame Fitzy for being crap we blame Sheens for picking him.....how ironic....

so the tables turn your one of those supporters who only wants sheens out when we loose.. and when we win you praise him… Its people like you who keep this guy in a job. Plain and simple. Tim Sheens is a failure for the last 4 years and you no what im gonna say it right here right now... If sheens doesnt win another game this season i want him gone, If sheens wins every game for the rest of the season and gets the premiership, i want him gone. Why? coz then ill have to put up with another 4 years of his rubbish.

As for fitzy - thats personal. I wont say on here what i want to see, because ill be banned from here. When im ready to be banned then ill let it unleash. You wanna no what it is, u drop me a priv msg and ill let u no what i think about him and my reasons. He is a rubbish first grader at best. Sure he held the most tries for the club for a while, but his stats are nothing special to get those trys, and that doesnt justify him to be a good player.

People like me keep Sheens in a job…

FTR....I want him to stay for life.....

Sack Em all you say….

Tim sheens is custodian of the club and the direction the footy and its operations go Med to Long term.

I am happy with where we are now from were we were when he took over those years back.

Team Selections including bench spots have been dodgy at times of late... However

This is the only blot on the record - Injury /funding and subsiquent depth of talent has alredy been adressed in the past.

Time for grown up discussion and for adults to talk....

I just want a season of consistency, without Sheens having to stuff it up for us all the time through his idiotic team selections i.e on the weekend and the constant use of a small interchange bench. I mean 1/11 years making the finals will not be acceptable, yet the club treats Sheens as though his is untouchable, that if we lose him Marshall will go. The kids tied up for life pretty much, we dont need to stand for this mediocre well not even that… terrible finals record. Sheens must either pick up his game, or be shown the door, Australian coach or not.

No Souths have the worst fans… biggest whingers in the comp.

The fact we have so many passionate fans posting here after the crap Sheens has dished up since 06 is testament to their our sticking power.

Moving our form fullback to wing, playing Lazarus at FB and Fitzy in the halfs was a disgrace. Stopped watching after 30 minutes. We are well wihin our rights to whinge given he has been doing this for years.... lets not even talk about the bench.

if sheens got the selections right and let the players do the talking in their rightful positions maybe we could of won a couple of matches - the fans arent upset that we lost as much as the team that sheens selects at game time. I'm afraid sheens has gone back to his old ways in this time of injuries. tuaki coming back will make a big difference to the team.
