Worst performance this season

It probably was but we really need to keep it in context imo. We didnt play great but we are off to a ripper start where we have won a couple we prob shouldnt have. This loss is good imo because this was the first game where we started poorly. We also have 10000 injuries im happy we compete well

But I think we missed 50+ tackles

52 to be exact which makes a mockery of the defence in the first 6 games. I just hope it's not back to the performances of the last 6 seasons which have been mediocre at best.

26/half then. Pretty consistent. Markers were atrocious unlike each previous game this season. For whatever reason, today's attitude seemed well off where we've been before

Credit where it's due. Knights played well I thought. They really aimed up in D and looked like a threat with the ball. A fair result I thought, Knights came on strong in the last quarter of the game. That said, we get that 50/50 call and that game was ours. Nothing in it at all.

Not a bad loss, if it's our worst, then the next goal is to keep it our worst loss for the rest of the season.

That’s harsh. If that’s our worst performance of the year, it speaks volumes for how well we are traveling.

Good point. There used to be a huge difference between our best and worst games.

We missed 52 tackles and let in 5 tries. What would you call it?

I agree but only going down in the last few minutes, I will take it.

We will improve and I would much rather lose this week than next week so hopefully we bounce back strong.

Got our feet firmly planted back on the ground after that loss. Not great but not disastrous either. The injuries are starting to test our depth, and resolve.
Possible that we will be written off again after that performance which is probably not such a bad thing.

Think we were already one of the worst for missed tackles prior to the game, so nothing new.

We have been missing 40+a game, but the stat is misleading because of the way we defend.

It was our worst defensive game and surprised it took so long to come, I am sure there will be a heap to take from this game.

I am not worried was a fair effort to get back in the game after the first half and felt like we should of stolen it. But the Knights came back with a good kick to win the match.

Newcastle were really good and played to a High standard. We were jyst a little off intensity wise and against a side hungry and playing well in an even competition it's not good enough. Anyway we nearly won and only just lost and personally thought the Hiss really hurt us at important times.
We also really missed Lawrence going after their halves. Missed big time..
Just beaten a tad on hunger.

Yeah have to agree, it was a horrible defensive effort and the scoreboard flattered us a little with most conversions by the Knights missed. Not so much the performance itself that was a worry, but the possibility that we could regress back into the non existent defence of the past few years. Some of those tries let in looked eerily familiar….

Guys take a breath. You can find any stat you want to show its our "Worst" performance of the year but none of those stats will tell you that that was the biggest test of the year. Newcastle was the first time that didnt derp it up big time in the face of our defence. If you want to delve into stats ( I couldnt be arsed) I would be surprised if that wasnt the least dropped ball against us this year. Newcastle played well. Their defence was strong and fast and they threw more at us than any team this year.

Ans we still nearly (should have ) won
