Worst Player To Play NRL

And…. Everyone should go easy on fitzy. You don't disrespect a player that was part of a maiden premiership winning team. Or any gf team for that matter, except maybe parra fans to old Neville glover.

My standout …mandated Moore the American NFL player who had a guest stint in rugby league... Apparently had no idea how to play the game!

Manfred Moore was an NFL player brought to Sydney by Newtown to play wing/centre in 1st grade without ever having played rugby or rughby league. I saw his first game which was played at Henson Park around 1977\. Very early in the first half a Newtown player put a very high bomb towards the opposition try line. Manfred Moore soared very high above the oppsotion players to take the catch and score a try. He only played a couple of games for Newtown and then headed back to the U.S. He was blessed with a lot of speed but due to his lack of experience was very raw in rugby league positional play. I see great similarities between him and Israel Folau when they changed football codes.

Whoever says D Fitzhenry is a clown with no idea. Fact is DF was forced into a role that he wasn't capable of playing. When he 1st came onto the scene he was a lightening quick player with more pace than the average player. I personally remember him absolutely dominating the World 7's. Pace off the mark was serious and he was a batter ball player than the average winger. The fact that Shines had a man crush on him and played him out of position shouldn't bring him into this argument. Look at John Morris….. Exact same thing. Decent player played out of position and made to look below average because of it. Nothing to do with his own choice but that of a coach who doesn't believe the 7 is a specialist position

I have seen Seinfeld, Billy Connolly, Louis CK and I swear you are funnier than all of them. HILARIOUS! Do you write your own material?
- "more pace than the average player" –-- I should hope so! half the players are forwards!
- "He absolutely dominated the world 7's" ---- Wonderful! Classic! Bravo!
- "played him out of position" ---- ON THE FIELD WAS OUT OF POSITION!

I've got an ACTUAL positive for Fitzy though:
- He made us appreciate the extent of the miracle when we won in 2005.

West Tigers won in 2005 because they played like a team. Unfortunately that is not how WT played in 2005\. The low profile players in the 2005 team were 100% team players - very few of this around in WT 2012.

I believe that this thread is unfairly focussing on players with ability which does not get the higher profile it deserves. How many honest team players tackle their heart out on a weekly basis but are counted in this thread among the worst players to play NRL?

Didn't him and another former NRL player get charged with manslaughter for belting a bloke. Could have this totally wrong but I'm sure I read it here somewhere.

I don't think the other person with Field was a former NRL player, but yes one of the two struck a person, resulting in his death.

Gee whiz, what a disgrace. Anyone know if Field is serving time currently (imagine he would be)?

Mine is a list of 5\. I agree with happy tiger…..the #1most useless Player to strap on a WEST'S TIGERS jersey HAS to be NICK GRAHAM , as useless as an ashtray on a Harley . There is a huge gap of SUNLIGHT till my next victim .Well I am going to offend a few old sparring partners & ruffle some feathers here( Simon & Co ) with one of my next few....

#2 Darren Senter.....why ?....GRUB/CHEAT/HOG/OVERRATED BY BALMAIN FANS, and most importantly , a full on WRONG OPTIONER !!The amount of games we would have won without him playing the game for himself ....I don't have enough fingers and toes to count them !!

#3 Jason Cayless....well....why did they even contemplate him to begin with??? Shot duck..at least two seasons previous.

#4 Adam Blair....not only was he USELESS but ( with the absolute worst management decision since signing Nick Graham , SHAME !! AND A BIG UPPERCUT to Tim Sheens, Stephen Humphreys ,Warren McDonnell and ANY board member who agreed to it !! ) he cost the Tigers 2/5ths of their BEST run on side.

#5 Last on my list is the winger , Ahmed Bajouri . He had the pace of a dish-licker , but the hands of an arthritic nun....shame he did have potential.

Special mentions go out to Fitzy : He could really piss me off one week then would have a blinder a couple of games later the bugger !!! A real love hate relationship there . Matthew Rieck: Blistering speed and great evasive skills . What went wrong ? Dazzled everyone when he was in the 'Shire' , fizzled in a Tigers jersey. Ryan O'Hara:....read Jason Cayless.

Merry X-Mass and Happy New Year to all !!!! :supporter: Remember ,ask Santa for better management strategies and player commitment at the club in 2013

Hmmm yeh 7s and a touch footy player….where exactly does a player play, who gets to the defensive line and shimmys left, looks right, heads back left..craps his dacks and surrenders in a voluntary tackle?

Ball player? No idea.

Fast...yeh, lots of players are, like darren Clarke...Fitzhenry was less than ordinary
