No need to merge again, just sell it to someone with passion and $$$ to pump into the club.
We will never get off the bottom while being owned by tightwad HBG No big name players come to our club cause we are run like peasants (Luia came for big money & did not have to move home).
We have changed coaches and players for years with the same result, HBG can't or won't provide the proper funding to run an NRL club. Time to change ownership or stay at the bottom forever. And what club in any professional sport appoints a coach with zero experience.

Yeah whatever happened to Harry. Harry where are you?
Story during the week that he gave them a month extensionYes. But Richo wants a guarantee next week after their EGM
Council should go back and tell the club they will spend the money when it is successful, so the money wont be wasted on an empty stadium.Story during the week that he gave them a month extension
Yep, I’m heading to the US in November to watch my first NFL game … I’m pumped. My main love this past decade has become my NFL team … it’s a shame in one way because any potential success that team has can only be experienced very remotely …
I think the council want the tigers more than the tigers want them.Council should go back and tell the club they will spend the money when it is successful, so the money wont be wasted on an empty stadium.
If it was my rates i would be annoyed spending it on a empty stadium

Naturally my interest in NRL dies around this time of year as the NFL pre season kicks in. Probably watch max 1-2 NRL. games a weekend
The excuses of having players out just doesn’t cut the mustard when you lose by 18 to a team with a forward pack of Waddell, Brown, Lodge & Sipley… literally reserve grade standard that should be steam rolled
Lol I love the Jurassic Park movies, there’s a new one out apparently! Just in time for another tiger-less finals series 😂Back to Jurassic Park DVDs for me like the good old days 😂
Idk if the agreement is still in place, but I remember when we first merged, it was stated, because we made that sacrifice, we would never have to again. Regardless, whether thread was made out of a joke or just feeling emotional, it’s not going to happen. Nor are we going to get kicked out. You don’t get kicked out of competitions for being perennial losers. It’s revenue streams, and despite us coming in last in that report, we are hardly on deaths door financially. So don’t worry, we have a lifetime of heartache still to go. You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave *cue solo*
What’s the bet we finally get things together with a class squad, things are ticking along nicely, and then the NRL change the entire structure and level the playing field for everyone. Many many seasons at the bottom as well .
The issue is talent distribution in the nrl . It’s more akin to Premier League than us sports . The bottom clubs being feed teams for the top 6 .
I’m hoping that when the teams go to 20 , that 2 conferences are created / 4 divisions of 5 . Only then do I see the league finding parity . Or trading players …… we could have traded Galvin and TDs and got draft picks back/ players .
Yeah they're classicsLol I love the Jurassic Park movies, there’s a new one out apparently! Just in time for another tiger-less finals series 😂
Rather be gone than merged againI just can’t see a way out of it for the club. They’re just so backwards.
Endless content in the NFL too, definitely helps. My main love this past decade has become my NFL team … it’s a shame in one way because any potential success that team has can only be experienced very remotely …
East Tigers in Brisbane are waiting. They even have one of their great supporters as our CEO.
