How's about Benett for next year with John Morris as assistant for 1 year before he takes over. Get it done Lee

Really, I'd prefer get rid of our bad players, keep Madge and sign Josh Morris as an assistant or one of att/def/game play coach.

To be truthful, I really think WT could do with one of those total reviews of football club ops from backroom, facilities, coaching, medical and roster. Brian Smith used to be notorious for those but they served a purpose. I think WT need something like that.

I'd suggest Sheens / Bennett, however has to be a good thinker with a great knowledge of the game, where its going and be able to compare our strengths and weaknesses against other clubs for best practice and ways to improve.

It didn't work out too well for us last time.

Not at the joint venture if you’re playing well.

I’d love someone with some business nous to have a look at our strategic plan, we seem to chop and change how we channel our funds, started with new coaches, then buying old heads, then the COE will fix it, then it’s aboriginal pathways, on to elite rep players from juniors. How about we narrow our focus and put the resources into finding the right people to win NRL matches.

I’m offended by that. Anyone got Brydens number? Apparently our chairmen also dabbles in compensation law. Seems relevant to footy???

I would swap in a heartbeat based on 2021

I’d swap both for either one.

The last 2 things you mention aborigional pathways and elite rep players should have always been an integral part of our clubs progam many years ago.I may not see all this become reality but it is certainly something i applaud. We have been negligent for so long and you can only blame the board because they have to oversee the clubs direction.

The thing is no big name player wants to come here

Our facilities suck, our development pathways has been neglected & we just aren’t attractive for players to come here over other clubs.

We need the COE as that at least gives us something off the field that is market leading. We need the pathways program, we need to enable young guns to come through & shine.

I think we are doing very ok behind the scenes, the issue is how long this will take and the majority of the currentcrop of players just aren’t having a crack/aren’t up to the grade. Our squad depth is shocking.
