That hill is not so mighty in September and hasn't been in a very long time. It's also pretty empty when it's cold and rainy. It's getting half of it seated as part of the upgrade too unless I'm mistaken. I find it a very curious and unique situation that our club expects the location to be be dominant driving force behind the atmosphere at games instead of our supporters just turning up and making it lively wherever.
Its a fantastic, innovative idea, and it had the potential to be a happy medium between corporate benefits for the club and punters being able to stand up with your mates holding a beer and jumping around screaming when we score a try without those stupid blue chairs in the way. They don't allow safe standing in the UK because of Hillsborough and fan disorder etc, but they have it in Germany in some stadiums, and if you pack people in it can REALLY get pumping.
I hope it works and people give it a shot.
