WT culture of capitulation is alive and well

Tonight's failure shows me we have not come very far at all. Leading 24 - 6 with 25 minutes remaining should be a given for any decent side. This could be a defining loss in relation to confidence and mindset. Obviously Brooks and Moses don't know how to close out a game. :bash

Rubbish thread. Youngest ever side we ever fielded and nearly took out last year's grand finalists without our best forward and a handy winger who can slot them from anywhere.

If referees could spot knock ons from the kick-off we probably would have won.

We lost woods they lost Morris. If anything we had the advantage. Your argument is weak.

It's a shame because they really should come out of the game feeling confident at taking the grand finalists to golden point but the nature of the defeat won't give them that. The Dogs are a really difficult side to hold out at the end. Remember round 1 they nearly came from the clouds to win. No biggie really.

We haven't been beaten by 56 yet this year so I reckon we've come a long way.

garbage, we lost by 1 point to last years grand finalists fielding one of the youngest sides going around

We lost by one point after leading by 18\. Put it in its true perspective.

I did, now you should

we aren't the first side to lose after a big lead and we won't be the last

You're right! There will be and have been a few other bottom 8 sides that will get beaten like this.

As long as that makes you feel better.

Op is so stupid I am suprised he figured out the internet.

He's not the only one with no idea on here unfortunately. These threads only emerge in the heat of the moment when people aren't thinking clearly, or thinking big picture.

Brooks and Moses will learn so much from this lose , it wasn't them making the turnovers in crucial positions or taking bad options from dummy half

I'm a proud WT's fan after this , we showed up to play against the No 2 side in the comp 5 days after playing the No 1 side and took them to golden point

Perspective Yes

At least we were a better team, we lost only after refs blunders.
In the contrast with some people here who wanted to forfeit, WT players tried and lost the game by 1 point

We lost Sue and Sirro also and had one interchange left with 18 minutes to go
