Not sure if it can be done or not but if all this fighting is where the magpie sits on the jersey is it that hard to have the magpie on the left side and the tiger on the right side of the jersey. also if its about stadiums obviously liechhardt is falling apart and state gov and fed wont refurb it why can't we play sfs and Campbelltown. Is concord oval worth upgrading and lobbying government?
Just some ideas tired of this bs fighting

No because then there will be more problems.

We need a sugar daddy like Crowe (jackman likes the tigs doesnt he?)

The problem is a bit bigger than where the magpie sits on a jersey or which ground the merry go round stops at - the biggest problem is corporate governance of WT and fortunately the factions are finally taking steps to clean up the messy board structure - once an independent board is established that only has WT interests at heart i think you will find that a lot of these issues will be resolved.

In that case why not sell the team to our sponsor harry triguboff billionaire and loves the club. Just wanting to get WT fans talking I can see we are all on the same page in moving as one glad to see. Thanks for the reply's

Why play at Skoda? LO is on its last legs, no one is going to spend money on that.

Cambletown will be Wests home ground in the not to distant future.

Parra stadium could be another if can get a naming rights sponsor which the state gov is trying to do

Billionaires dont get rich by investing in commoditys that return a loss

Put a balmain logo on one side and a western suburbs on the other side as it always should have been ( just wondering why the western suburbs magpies don't currently have to pay extra for that free advertising that balmain doesn't receive).

As for stadiums unless they build one at Liverpool for lots of teams then we should move them all to ANZ

wouldnt buying the wests tigers be pocketchange to a billionaire? But, they might see an opportunity to make money after fixing up this place which is in shambles. Can be done, and if not that maybe for the love of the club? If I had a billlion dollars i'd buy out the club for sure, then remove the stupid board structure.

If Barry o Farrell can get us the new stadium at Campbelltown that they have been talking about building somewhere it's would be awesome for us

From the very start I've always felt that the merger should have been called United with a Tiger and Magpie on each side of the emblem. That way no side of the merger could been seen to have an advantage. Instead what we've copped over the years is Tigers this and that with commentators always slipping in Balmain.

Who are you kidding -Wests got a magpie emblem on the sleeve we got nothing, Campbelltown gets 4 games and a trial, Leichhardt gets just 4 games no trial, they are looking at building a training centre at Campbelltown not Leichhardt, they are called wests no mention of balmain and you think wests got it bad -open your eyes.

I don't want either side to be favoured it should be even or in fact not have sides -combine the leagues club, combine the running of the junior leagues

Like it or NOT it's looking more and more like CSS for more home ground games!!! :astonished:

It'd be hard to combine junior leagues due to the geographical distances though boonboon. Least that's how it appears to me, it'd such for a balmain kid to have to go train in cambelltown or a cambo kid to have to trek it balmain every week. I think keeping junior clubs is okay, but leagues clubs should all be WEsts Tigers as should all teams above u18s, which i think they are now that the NSW Cup team is wests tigers. Then, we have to tackle the board obviously. Get a independent board for the JV not archaic factions.

Lets hope the nrl n commision can sort our club out before its to late. though CSS Looks to be the home if we all read between the lines.

Even if the stadium doesn't get approved, which as much as i love the idea i find it unlikely, at the very least we might get Centre of Excellence type training facility in cambo. Maybe behind the stadium where the athletics track is could be an option for where to put it. Even if it was only the training facility that gets developed, long term depending on LO's viability i can see us maybe having a 8-4 split between Cambo and the SFS.

That may be the case, but it will have to be a gradual move until we can start pulling better crowds at Campbelltown on a consistent basis. Remember we need a really decent crowd there just to break even financially, and the club is not flush with cash to be throwing away guaranteed income elsewhere.

I don't know what all the smiley faces are about, but as a JV it is only natural that we should be aiming for an even split eventually between the inner city and south west. However that may depend somewhat on the state governments stadium strategy, and whether Campbelltown is their intended western sydney location.
