I hear a lot of criticism aimed at the WT Board of Directors. But when it comes to football decisions, they surely just rubber stamp (within financial reason) what Sheens, Pascoe and the football department presents to them.

The board is made up of eight. Five of the eight are from Wests Ashfield. The chair and two others are from the Balmain side of the tracks. Given the club is doing well financially I think the board is doing a good job.

I could be totally wrong, but don’t think Julie Romero, Dennis Burgess or Simon Cook etc are talent scouting for players in their spare time. Most of the board are successful business types who are there to make sure Wests Tigers are a successful business.

When it comes to footy decisions I can see Rick Wayde (Wests) and Danny Stapleton (Balmain) having a say, but it’s going to be mostly down to what Sheens wants.

Pascoe’s role in football related decisions - I’m not sure about. It would seem that Sheens was brought in to cover Pascoe’s lack of football smarts.

But, I could be wrong ...

Denny Burgess is too busy falling into K-holes and acid flashbacks to worry about recruitment.

The way some carry on around here you’d think they are paying their supers into Wests Tigers.

I’m still to see any long term data that shows anything that Pascoe has done has the club in a strong financial position. The graph on the website do not have data, only pretty colors.

I bag management a lot but to be fair Wests Tigers make a profit on their own. My understanding is they have no need for grants from Wests Ashfield. So pokie money is no longer required. It’s the one area that Wests Tigers get a tick ✅ for. As far as everything else, management deserve all the criticism they get.

Happy to be corrected if I am wrong but the above is my understanding.

Yeah but who keeps him awake and is he aware that we are in 2022? Someone should really break it to him softly….
