Yes as Col said Smith and Mikhaeli are quality junior rep players…McIntyre been playing both second row and centre in ISP .....All would be on base level NRL contracts which you need in a squad

Which young players should we have signed bp....you watch a bit of the lower grades...

That's what most sane supporters are hoping or, but it's all very quiet on the western front, which doesn't fill me with much confidence.

Canterbury, the supposed financial basket case, have already signed CHN & Crichton from Penrith, Sue from us, Meaney & Cogger from Newcastle and made an offer to Oats! They have also re-signed Lewis, RFM and Martin.

Mikaele is exactly the player that we need in first grade. Big, powerful hard running forward. He's why we didn't need Sue anymore…

Smith will undoubtedly put pressure on Nof and Thompson over the off season, and prove a capable understudy for Mbye at the back
