So you are taking the thread as a whole, looking at the page count and determining everyone is overreacting….this is causing you to come to the wrong conclusion.

Lots of people affected means lots of posts about it, means lots of pages. Understand? Don't overreact to the page count.

Nah, I don;t understand basic maths - please explain it to me oh owner of the wisdom and holder of the intellect. Maybe use extra punctuation and bold text to reinforce your point.

Mods having to waste their time deleting posts, accusations of whining, whinging, trollery and belonging to the 'spoilt i want it now / me generation' - definitely an overreaction.
Especially last night when some of the carry on was hilarious - some not so much.

Anyway, before I overreact (just to prove my own point :wink: )- all the best and enjoy your Sunday afternoon.

Good on all of you that went to the game and got behind the boys last night. Most on here attend at least a few games a year and would probably get to more if things like weather, distance and/or life's other commitments allowed.

At.my place the decision not to attend was arrived at because the club was providing the live stream coverage, and even with the free entry that was enough to tip the balance away from staying at homes favour, as my son was still getting over a bug.

I am fairly tech illiterate so I have no real thoughts on who is to blame, but someone needs to be held accountable, particularly as it pretty well coincides with the public release of the club's plan, which includes ambitious social media targets.

I may be a dinosaur in some people's eyes as I am approaching fifty and remember dialing the huge old Bakelite phones, but In this day and age I as part of a target audience expect us to be able to see a stream that is aimed in our direction.

The tigers would have needed a very good net provider/server.
They prob trying to run it off a couple servers when they should be distributing off multiple. Its not easy. You have tigers fans, sharks fans, NRL fans all logging on same time. Server can't cope with all the traffic.

Companies dont want to spend more money on better servers when it only happens "once in a while.

Try logging on to ticketek on "On Sale" says at 9 am and see what happens to their servers.

Have you used internet in Japan and noticed the difference in speed?

That might be true, but all they would do is upload it to one site and then that site distributes it. If you traced where the stream was coming from, it appeared to be http://www.tikilive.com servers. If this was true, then it's not the speed of Australian Internet, but everything to do with the ability of their overseas servers handling all the concurrent users.

Loved the Dribble / Commenty, Skand and Fults were terrible but very entertaining
 
Wow. I must be lucky I was sitting outside with beers watching on an iPad and it streamed without fault from start to finish and I am in in country nsw

You blokes complaining about missing a trial have it lucky

The Wests v Cronulla semi final in Qld was advertised at the wrong time as a 8.30 start

Got home from taking the Mrs out to enjoy the game and it was half time

We get it, you're just a much bigger supporter than all of us aren't you…..because we didn't go to a trial match.

My main issue was with Grant Mayer on Twitter telling everyone the issue was with the people watchings internet and that they should contact their internet provider or check their computers for problems. Only for WT to later say it was theirs/XCasts problem.
 
Alright, enough is enough. Between Geo and myself more than 20 posts have been deleted from this thread, which is way too many. The next offending post to be removed will result in the poster going on mod-preview. So please quit getting personal with one another. It's counter-productive to everything this forum stands for.

Discuss your issues politely and in a mature manner. It's really not that difficult.
