Good to see the moralists out in force. No one can ever condone what Lui did, but there is a scale. Field murdered someone for god sake. Case closed.

Field belted a bloke who died which is terrible.
Lui belted his partner, thankfully with far less dire consequences.

According to testimony in 2012 relating to the 2011 incident - "Lui kicked her in the temple and headbutted her". "Lui entered the apartment via a balcony, pushed her in the chest, then dragged her by her hair to a mattress where he kicked her a number of times." Lui denied kicking her.

At the end of the day, its the end result that matters. Again, not condoning Lui, or trying to brush off what he did, but you cannot compare the two.

Jinxing? This is a thread about the greatest halfback in the clubs history as of 2014 (I say 2014 as 2015 has not kicked off yet). How does Brooks come into calculation off one season? His potential is irrelevant, he could be as good as Andrew Jones one day, but still won't change the fact that up until 2014, he won't have been the best, most influential halfback in the clubs history up till that point.
