To answer the first question, no I wouldn't.

i've had these disagreements before so i'll keep it short and say that it is your opinion which is fine but where would you draw the line? the line can be anywhere between murder to peeing in a park (something that even todd payten is guilty of) so the best way to judge it would be soely on the on field performances.

No drama with your opinion tig. I was only trying to make the thread consistent. The OP removed Field, simply because someone said he is a grub. I said the same thing about Lui because his actions, imo were just as bad and may well have led to him being gaoled for murder as well, but he was lucky. He is still on the list. I don't care about players peeing in public places or in their mouths or whatever - it's not in the same category.

Field had many things attached to him

Match fixing
Drug taking
Fraud
Murder

I suppose the next question asked is this

Seeing that only about 1 from 3 assaults against women is reported , how many "clean ' skins do we know about

Another subject at another time

Mods have decided Field is gone ,Field is gone

End of story

Hope I'm not contradicting myself but taking performance enhancing drugs should be automatic exclusions.

That's why I'm actually a firm believer that Paul Gallen should be stripped off his dally Ms

Comparing Lui to Field is idiotic

Disagree
Actions comparable, the results of Field were far worse, the difference in result is luck.
Head butting and kicking your pregnant wife is as bad as most things.

His wife was pregnant? Oh god..

Making light of that is just pathetic…perhaps just for the grace of God the outcome was less tragic...

Huh? I didn't know his wife was pregnant so I conveyed my shock at his stupidity…

I have to go with Prince he made Benji look good in his early days at 5/8…..

He and Hodgo also could split the defence and win games...

Halfback is all about being a playmaker and as far as that's concerned,Prince was the best so far for WTs...

He did play more than twenty games for wests Tigers.

He was actually a decent player, although my vote goes to Prince.

Offence is taken, not given.

If you don't want to vote for him don't.

It's not like the Tigers went all Aaron Hernandez on him and offered to exchange all jerseys with his name on it and removed him from club records.

I'll say it again, offence is taken, not given and without to much thread drift this is the same with Charlie hebdo

Scott Prince was great for the Tigers in 2004 & 2005, however 2006 was a nothing year as he negotiated to turn his back on the club that resurrected his career, while I did vote for Prince I hope that in another 10 years or so when the topic of the Tigers best ever 17 comes up it will be Luke Brooks who wins the spot hands down,

Good to see the moralists out in force. No one can ever condone what Lui did, but there is a scale. Field murdered someone for god sake. Case closed.

Given your previous stand on the subject I made an assumption…my appologies

Gee it's becoming a contentious issue the 1/2 back of the last 15 years, Field created his 'Major' PROBLEM well after severing ties with the Tiges while Lui was granted a second chance which which he suceeded in blowing big time, who wins in this case?.
