WT's next Fullback (after Lote)

Well I dunno, my statement is a bit absurd but based on their performances when they were side by side in the halves for BRET and in the same NYC side Lazarus was the dominant of the two.

Think when they played together for BRET they were about even…..Lazarus and Moltzen never played NYC together Dunley and Ayshford where the halves early on........Blake lasted 4 games in 2008 while Moltzen was playing First Grade......

Lazarus is just as talanted as Moltzen and Ayshford.....Cruelly injuries and 2 knee reco's stopped his career before it begun....Gusty Kid though.....LWR>>>>>

I don't like the idea of Lote at fullback … Mullaney is too small and unlike the under 20's defence is important in 1st Grade
I wouldn't worry in 3 years time a new group of young Wests/Balmain SG Ball juniors will be lining up to replace Lote.

Mullaney too small? I will tell that to Clive Churchill, Les Johns, Brett Hodgeson etc. etc.

I think Lazarus and Mullaney have more natural instict for the position than Moltzen but at this stage I would be happy for some continuity in poosition and player growth

Yes but they could tackle ..and..in those days you weren't penalised for tackled around the legs.

For mine Lazarus offers more than Jake if he stas injury free.

If Arana works out though I think we will see Moltzen as the long term fullback

yeah, the problem is moltzen is a waste at full- back
