Yeah Blame Campbelltown ( CSS)

Where I was sitting with @tigerbenji… didn't seem like too many were there to watch the game at all. Was very hard to see what was happening on the field with most others getting up multiple times for beer stops. Felt like most people where we were sitting were there only to drink. Not interested in the game at all!!

Drinking helps ease the pain.

Get over it. Im a Magpie, a Lidcombe Magpie, and when the barbs are out I will square up for the club.

I was fired up earlier this year over Humpty's comments, they were low, divisive and I was offended and felt singled out as a supporter base. It really is sad/disappointing that you have gone out of your way to create this thread, dredging up a tit for tat squabble, to what end?

Anyone who believed that the Campelltown game reflected poorly on the Magpies was foolish, it was a failure by WT fans, everyone, and financially hurt us. Not turning out last night hurt our brand again. If we have the same issue at the coming LO game it will hurt our brand and pocket even further. What kind of petty childish fool would revel in the fact that the club is hurting, and the pain is being felt everywhere.

What does this thread prove…. that the petty factional infighting has no boundaries, no low is too low.

I think its just pointing out the hypocrisy of sections of the supporter base. Already i've seen someone post on here that the poor crowd is a reflection on Humpty, and when we get a poor crowd at LO in 2 weeks people will say the same thing again. Yet in the past when we've got poor crowds at Cambo, its the supporters fault, even though they were against interstate teams and coming off losing streaks and poor form. Its those people who seemingly get their jollies off on laughing and throwing cheap shots at Cambo

Just look at the last round last yr as a prime example. Playing for a spot in the 8, Ellis' farewell, it was all on the line but only drew 9K. If that were at Cambo people would still be whinging but cos it was our ''spiritual home'' it gets a free pass. Its double standards, and unless they are frequent commuters on the short bus they know it too

Lol Simon do you feel compelled to take reputation points off me every time. Abuse of the system but I suppose if it makes you feel better. This time I did report it as abuse. Sad you say it's the worst thread ever but you keep coming back. For anyone who thinks this thread was a Balmain/ Wests dig it most certainly not. I am in no way biast I am only responding to people whom have previously rubbished Campbelltown and it's crowds I would do the same if it was L/O.Its more to do with ground issues rather than the past. I am a big fan of 6 and 6 home games

We like to feel like martyrs. We feel victimised, often justifiably, but have no qualms reciprocating when ever the opportunity arises.

Fixed it for you….

If the fight is brought to us, then dont back down.... when the dust settles let it be. There is no need to kick it back up for a cheap shot.

You're completely missing the point, where is the cheap the shot?

People criticised the CSS crowd because it was round 2 against a neighbouring club, and the fans failed to turn up. The situation now is the club is experiencing a record losing streak, and people won't turn up to watch 17 pea-hearts not even put in an effort or be competitive.

It doesn't matter where we play our games in the current situation, no one is going to fork out 100s of dollars and waste half their weekend to watch a reserve grade standard performance from our side.

The idea behind this thread is totally misplaced.

Wear it as a badge of honour mate - the guy is a tosser of the highest order - i'll swear he is a closet manly supporter.

We were still on a losing streak and playing like pea hearts going into the Broncos game yet people still pointed the finger. Whats changed in the last 2 weeks?

Did Humpty even bother to turn up last night?

Didn't see him anywhere. Saw Noyce - always willing to stop and have a chat. ah, the good ol' days.

Yeh he was there, saw him on the replay near tunnel entry, as a battered beau was led up the tunnel, he had a concerned look on his face

You can see I specifically referred to round 2 against Penrith, with no real excuses. Against the broncos the crowd was understandable.
