You cannot blame all this on Potter

How Potter survived 2 years with his very limited knowledge about the modern game is beyond me.

Fair dinkum Irvine, you're all over the place on this whole potter subject. For ages he was no good. Then you want him to stay, now it's a miracle he's come this far.

I have always wanted Potter to stay but I think the situation now has become impossible. Personally I can't believe he has not resigned.

The board have virtually openly undermined him in the public arena and it can't make it easy to coach a side when that happens. Players normally follow suit if the coach is in trouble. But these situations happen because of disunity at a board level. The WT are a bit of a rabble ATM and its not gonna change until their is solidarity at board level & coaching staff.

Its a real pity as 2014 started in a positive manner for us and now we are finishing on a very weak note.

As a supporter I have almost given up on caring ATM as if the club can't get its act together its not up to me to worry myself about it.

I think everyone at the WT ATM should hang their heads in shame. They really have let the fans down..BIGTIME.

The players are showing that on the field and happy to throw the whole season away for their own selfish agenda's.

"the kids" ( players) don't like the " teacher" (coach), so they won't do as they are requested, in the playground, ( the footy field).

The big question,is another coach going to do any better with the cattle we have at our disposal????

We keep hearing the golden days are just around the corner, we have the best crop of kids coming through our system in the whole NRL, well if you ask me its a myth. We have always been strong at u20s level but it has translated to stuff all at the NRL level, so why will it be any different with our current crop of kids.

Iam so sick and tired of seeing our club being in the cellar of the NRL. Anyway my guess we will have a new coach in 2015 with a new two year plan and with the playing roster being almost the same as this year, nothing will change

Bloody shame to finish the season like this,i thought we were playing reasonable football at the start,we look like a bunch of blokes who have been on the grog for a week,slow cumbersome no spark whats-so-ever,everything we do in attack is laboured..
Another Jack Gibson saying that applies to us,"when you see the opposition looking for someone to pass the ball to on a continual basis you know their gone.".(or something like that.).

What?? So, you are relying on the thoughts of Steve Roach to find the truth in all of this? Maybe a section of the playing group have questioned why a knucklehead like Roach would even be employed by the club. And, if they did, good on them!!

:bash As I have said earlier in this thread,with a new board and the recruitment of players who want to play for themselves,the team ,the club and the fans then and only then will we be on the road of success..the young fellas will learn from someone who has had plenty of NRL experience that wants to have a crack..Potter will also benefit from these type of recruits …AFFORDABILITY is the key to this problem and somehow I don't think it will happen by 2015,and I don't think Mick will be there,that will be a shame I honestly think he has done a good job with the bottom of the barrell stock we have and the inhouse dramas to contend with(I think he has dignity and pride,not that it helps him in this farce of a job)...West Tigers now and forever....
