Young Guns - Who will stand up?

I think Lodge will go well as will Cherrington. Love to see Sirro really establish himself along with Akauola.

Obviously I am a huge Lodge fan…how he got released by the Storm I do not know and what a pick up for us....absolute gun front rower.

My only concern is with his hands...aside from that WOW.....when he plays at under 20's for us and reps he looks like he is an 19 year old playing against 16 year olds.

Huge prospect........

love the big kid just wish he would take it up as a prop and not stop to pass it

Would love to see Santi step up.
He could be a game changer for us if he makes a good transition to first grade.

So many young bloods coming thru. Watershed year for the Tigers in 2015\. My money is on Sue and Ava to step up with Sirro to continue to improve and become a leader and let's not forget Luke Brooks who will be better for the experience. He and Moses are going to be something special. The unknown to jump out of the pack could be fine.

We are going to need a lot from Sirro ,Ava and Sue in 2015 and 2016

Welcome to the Forum Twmba Tigerman from someone originally down the other end of the Warrego Highway

Have fun

Just to clear it up the most important thing , you a Qlder Twmba ??

Would love Sirro to have a great year, he has the talent but has struggled with injury so much already.

What sets our current youngsters apartis that we usually may have 1, occasionally 2 players from a junior team that look the goods and seem likely to step up and play NRL. So in the past these players and others of less potential have been given chances and some have done well, and others have disappeared.

Now we are in the unique situation where there are about 10 youngsters who appear quite capable of making the transition to NRL. Not 1-2, but 10\. Sure not all of them will, but there are many future rep players in our ranks.

Which ones will make it? Perhaps we need to setup a forum sweepstakes for the next players to play Origin, Internationals etc??

Nofa - will be the one for mine. He was basically playing on one leg last year and still broke tackles. He will play some sort of rep footy next year (City v Country).

Seve is a class junior and will find him self in the top grade at some point.

In the last couple if games of 2014, Sirro showed glimpses of his potential and is a dark horse to play an enforcer role that we desperately require along with Matt Lodge.

If Teddy can stay in the field, he will challenge for Dally M fullback if the year.

Brooks and Moses to have steady but not necessarily spectacular years. Second year syndrome may play a part at some point.

Sitaleki will be a little rocks and diamonds but will be much better in 2016.

And while not being one of the younger brigade, I have a feeling Chris Lawrence will be strong for us but not necessarily in the centres.

First and foremost I hope Teddy stays on the field. If he does it will go a long way to helping Brooks and Moses settle their game.

I'm expecting a lot from Nofa and Simona. Both had fairly quiet 2014s but injury can be used as an excuse.

Out of the rookies I'm expecting big things from Matt Lodge. He just doesn't stop impressing me. Getting the same vibe from him as when Woods was coming through. I don't think it'll be too long before he knocks Galloway out of the starting position.

Can't wait to see Teddy,Brooks and Moses with the backline moves, when on they will be the most dangerous in the league

Too right.

They stay fit + our forwards hold their own = a good year!

I agree. Remember his try v the Titans early in the year? Basically ran over 3-4 defenders. Go Nofzilla!!

Nofa is a gem. If he were in one of the top sides i have no doubt he'd be in the mix for Origin selection. Would really like to see him given a shot at fullback next yr if Tedesco happens to go down.
