I remember a Danial Day Lewis Movie about the IRA and he was a Boxer… It was a great movie!
@tigergirlz said:I have a theory that the mood you are in, and the atmosphere of the time effects how you perceive the value of a film. I have been to films that I have not really enjoyed, but similarly minded friends have loved them. I usually find a movie I watch when on holidays is more likely to end up being a favourite.
A movie that really touched me was Sophie's Choice,
I laughed hysterically at Blazing Saddles (but have not watched it since)
I absolutely love Chocolat (probably because of Johnny Depp) although I think one of his best movies is What's Eating Gilbert grape.
**I also remember an Alby Mangles movie that I saw at a community hall that I thought was fantastic, but have no idea what it was.**
Have seen Big Wednesday numerous times at the outdoor cinema at Lady Macquarie's Chair (that I'm sure has to do with the environment)
Lately, I have enjoyed Bridesmaids and Kath and Kimberalla (which has probably dismissed any interest in what I have written)

"In the name of the Father "
Watto Its is a true story about the Guildford bombings and how an entire Irish and British family (8 in fact) were locked up for something they had nothing to do with The story was based on Gerry and Guiseppe Conlan and Guiseppe died in prison
