Got this idea from a thread in the NRL related board, some dude who got the idea off another website.

What is your most unpopular opinion about WESTS TIGERS that most people would disagree with you about?
No negging people for disagreeing.

Mine,

Simona is our best centre that is over-looked because Ayshford & Lawrence are first choice centres that have had their spots for a long time, automatic selection because there is no one better…. Pshhh.

There is only a handful of other second rowers in the NRL I'd take over Adam Blair, I like him... I'm a fan. Witnessed his best in the past & I think he is a beast. Hope he proves all the nay sayers wrong and I feel like this year he's been doing such, so far.

I miss Bryce Gibbs and I've never liked Chris Heinington. When Bryce left, I wished it was Chris instead. I wish Bryce still played for us - he is such an under rated front rower. All heart. Chris is rubbish, never played a good game for us in his life - sorry guys.

Would have to disagree with you about Heighno Demps, he played plenty of good games for us. He might not be flashy but his teammates would look across at him before the game and know that he will be there for them when it gets willing. Can't ask of any more from a teammate.

Mine are
1 Benji is now a better half back then five eight and should be playing half
2 Blair is better then many think here -especially this year
3 Hieghno going was a good move and so was letting Gibbs go

I think point 1 is definitely true at this point. Point 2 & 3 are possibly true but line ball.

My biggest gripe is the club is still a joint venture. Whilst we try and keep two parties happy we will never move forward. If club needs a clean out it needs to start from the very very start. Eg boardroom.

x1000

It is very obvious, this is the real problem for the Tigers in the past, now and, more importantly, INTO THE FUTURE!

Winning the 2005 premiership was the worst thing that could have happened to the club

If we'd won in say 2007 it would of been far more beneficial

A lot of the talented juniors would of learnt that things in life had to be earned and lots of hard work put in

That Tim Moltzen is a pretty good footballer.
Our Recruitment/development system is top class, everyone seems to think they are rubbish. I think they have decided to move this lot on and invest in bringing a new bunch through, we seem to have a great bunch coming through.

Why don't Wests Tigers come clean and advise their fans about whether there is sufficient money left in the kitty to buy necessary players this year and in the future.

This forums judges on lower grade players potential is absolutely rubbish.

Be just as accurate to kill a goat and try to read its entrails.

On top of that, I don't see anything special in Sironen so far, decent yes, potential superstar.. don't think so.

Reddy is vastly underated, people seem to bag him for no reason,he is a class centre.
Blair is not paid as much as people think, and he is not as bad as people think, poor recruting around him is the problem.
Anasta should never play in the halves again for us,probably should play 17.
Brooks needs a go in the NRL,lets get a look at this kid,he was out of position and became second fiddle to the canberra halfback on saturday,he is our future 7.
I was a Miller fan,but he has done nothing this year to inspire confidence him.
BMM is lazy,Keithy is becoming a liability, and Pettybourne has been a letdown so far.
Utai should never reach 1st grade again, and Nofo should get a shot also.

Agreed, i think its the name that has people excited tbh

1\. The joint venture holds this club back. Decisions these days need to be made with Wests Tigers interests at heart. I felt that for the initial license of the merger it was fair enough to do the 50/50\. Now though in 2013, I find it a joke and it holds us back big time. You only have to look at the future of our club. Most 13 year old kids have NO idea who Balmain and Wests are. Why are the interests of Balmain and Wests held so highly.

For this club to move forward and achieve its potential, decisions need to be made with Wests Tigers at the front of the mind. Sadly this includes leaving Leichhardt Oval. I love that place! But I realise that it's days are numbered as a home ground. It's hard to admit in one sense but our future is Campbelltown. So long as potential renovations are allowed out there, I see no reason not to commit full time out there. This being said as an old Balmain fan. Will we have just the one home ground still? I don't know, but I don't see LO being long term, even in 10 years time.

We would be conceding a shirtload more points with anyone but Moltzen starting at fullback. He needs to be in that number 1 jersey for the time being.

I agree about Sironen, he isn't a five eight, doesn't have the creativity. One day we might become a good second rower though, but needs to work on his defense.

I hate the theory that the tigers have heaps of points in them. This theory went out the window when Lui got the boot for the past 2 years we have struggled to score points like we used to. The last game I can remember us scoring at will was against the warriors at campbeltown.
