Twal has no impact, doesn't pass. Stifles the attack. But I imagine he's probably coached to do that so it's probably not his fault. If he CAN pass and offload I would probably run him at 10 and Uto to the bench over Amone and tell him to start offloading and passing at the line a bit. If it's actually that he just can't pass the ball or offload it then get rid of him.

Simpkin needs a stint in reggies. He's gotten progressively worse each week and that's not a good sign that he's ready for first grade. Don't want to break the kid.

This is part of the masterplan given that Mbye has been ordinary in the centres and not much better as a dummy half so if he goes alright at 5/8 with all the team coaches in Brisbane this weekend the Tigers may still off load him this year.....................just a thought????

it's probably more about Brooks and trying to get him to wake up and take complete control, even though he needs a month in reserve grade to remember how to play football.

I am not really a Madge supporter, and I don't support the move but if we were making this move in order to accommodate Laurie to 6 (and had a good option at fullback which we don't) I would allow it. Those are the only circumstances in which I would.

If this is in order to bring Logen Dillon into fullback and move Laurie to 6 then I will allow it. That's literally the only way that I would be okay with this.

Yes I know he hasn't played reserve grade, I don't care. I think Dillon 1 and Laurie 6 is the future of our spine. Douehi is not a 7 ergo in that scenario Douehi playing in the centres is okay.

If it's to accommodate Mbye at 6 or anything aside from Laurie to 6 then big time no.

Well with the club rule that Mbye must be picked every week this was probably the only remaining option.
He can't play centre.
Liddle or Simpkin will be on the bench so there's no room there.
There was nowhere else to put him.
