love the guy, but someone needs to make way for our younger brigade.

I'm hoping he stays at the club abit like Skando though maybe in a coaching role…
 
Maybe in 2012 - but he is still a crucial part of our top 17 in 2011 in my opinion.

I have to admit I am worried about the likes of Jason Schirnack getting limited opportunities & moving on - but there is still a comp to win. And it was another youngster in Flanagan & not the veteran Payten that pipped Jason for a bench spot throughout 2010!

Woods is only very young (a year younger than Fifita) so time is on his side and he is unlikely to look elsewhere in the medium term as he is a genuine staunch Balmain boy!

Personally - from your team I'd switch Moltz & Ayshford as I believe Blake is too good to waste on the bench - while Moltz will need time to find his feet (especially in defence which was never his strong suit - and he would be severely tested at centre).

Having said that - as the season progresses - Moltz will be too valuable to waste on the bench and a starting spot needs to be found at either 7, 3 or 1! However - moving Ayshford to the back-row does not appeal to me as it would provide yet another obstacle to Schirnack's progression!
 
its gona be tough fitting everyone in next year and I agree about Moltzen. Good to start him from the bench, but too much talent long term to be a bench player. I remember all the years Shaun Berrigan warmed the bench at Brisbane. They seemed to be wasted once we all saw his talent…

Jason & Aaron are must keeps in my eyes!

Berrigan was a champion in every position he played - but he was a revelation at centre and then again at hooker late in his Australian career!

The Ennis injury in 2006 was the best thing that happened for the Broncos!

I agree we need to keep both kids mentioned - and am confident in Aaron's case - but with Heighno - Fults & Gareth ahead of him (+ Dwyer) Jason may feel inclined to go elsewhere for a start. I would not be happy as I rated him more highly than Dwyer - and still believe he is a very tough and skillful natural footballer who can be the cornerstone of a first grade pack for years to come!

Really Tired from the weekend and struggling today, So I'm reading though and this thread and the options we have for 2011.

Next season I believe will see so much selection drama that this forum is sure to be on fire.

Never before will the WT have so much talent to choose from. We have depth in almost every position.

Barring injury confined to the same position as we saw to the #7 midway through 2011, I believe there will be a very big chance to make and possibly take out the premiership.
 
Ummm….. Skando isn't going anywhere....he will play forever....
