I REALLY don't understand all the love for Meaney on this forum. I obv don't have the opportunity to watch State Cup living in Auckland, but what I've seen of him has been VERY average. And this has nothing to do with his brain explosion tonight, that might have been warranted - but he could have at least told the refs… or something!

I just hope Woods is playing next week. Deserves his spot ahead of Meaney and Flanagan at least, but I'd even give him a spot ahead of Fifita and Payten at the moment. Woods has outplayed Fifita all year.

Assuming McKinnon, Ryan, Daniella and Hino are out, and Fulton is back, i'd like to see:

2 Latu - did OK last night
3 Moltzen - needs to be / going to be somewhere

7 Miller - deserves more than one game starting

9 Farah
10 Fifita - can't start with Gibbs and Payten, not enough impact, so…

13 Schirnack - he'd probably go alright here, he does a lot of defensive work, like Hino.

14 Payten - better in short spurts
15 Woods - where was he?
16 Dwyer - is lazy, needs to get more involved
17 Flanagan - cover for the backs and forwards.
 
If McKinnon is out again and Mitch doesnt get fullback i think ill throw up! Has everyone forgot our run to the finals last year??

Sheens said last week that Galloway and Fulton were possibilities for gold coast, so they should definately be back for this!?

He also said that Lui was close behind them.

Best possible line up Willow. Payten over Moors for mine. I can't believe after a couple of dropped balls people are calling for him to enter early retirement or be dropped.

Despite that being the best line up I see the following happening.

- Heighington being suspended for a week for his shot on the glazier;
- Woods probably missing out again;
- The back five resembling the run on side last night with the exception of Latu for Ryan;
- Galloway missing another week, the Sauce is one of my favourites and a toiler on the paddock, but if he sneezed he'd break his nose he's that fragile.

What is the love affair a number of forum members have with LATU?
Every time I see him play I fail to see a first grade footballer, but then again he had another 16 team mates who were not playing like first grade footballers last night. Back to park footy for Latu and surely there is some smart young winger in Toyota Cup or maybe one of last years Wests Tigers Toyota Cup players who are now playing for Balmain-Ryde if Beau Ryan is still unfit
