Your Team V Broncos

Payten is still a good player in short spurts when used off the bench correctly Keeps side experienced throughout the whole match . After looking at game again Titans should of been penalized for first play the ball as they had there hands all over Payten and the ball . Second one was not good though . But he works hard in defence especially covering the inside play . When he and Fulton are on the field I have complete confidence that no team will beat us on the inside ball . Can't the same for a couple of other tigers forwards .Don't drop Payten

Fellow tragics

I was so down that I tried to stay away as much as pos from the forum on the weekend.

My Observations

1 - I and We should never turn against our side or become vitriollic. At all times we should be constructive in our assessments. This is very Very Hard as it is a shared passion of ours.

2 - Sam Latu's display on Friday was akin to that of Blake Laz last year IMO.

3 - As much as I like Moltz, we are doing his career mortal damage by playing hi at Full Back. I would like to see Sean Meany given his chance and failing that Mitch Brown should be covering for Mck.

4 - Payto is a club champion and as it has been said b4, He has won us tons of games and Must be there. Hopefully Gal is back in starting side this week.

5 - Aysford and Utai have been doing well and this combo should remain intact.

6 - If Bro Ryan is on the park on Friday, we must be patient as he regains fitness.

7 - Fifita played a very mature game on Sat

1 Wade Mckinnon / Meany
2 Beau Ryan
3 Mitch Brown
4 Blake Ayshford
5 Matt Utai
6 Benji Marshall
7 Tim Moltzen
8 Bryce Gibbs
9 Robbie Farah
10 Andrew Fifita - Starts
11 Simon Dwyer
12 Gareth Ellis
13 Chris Heighington

14 Todd Payten
15 Keith Galloway - ??Inj
16 Liam Fulton
17 Aaron Woods

I think Heighington will be spending a couple of weeks on the side line after the match committee review the game. Fulton will be a great replacement at lock.

Moltzen either plays half back or back to State Cup. Miller back to 20's but has a big future ahead of him.

If McKinnon is out injured either Brown to full back or try Mullaney. Scored 3 tries for BRET and with our lack of points last week we need an avenue to score.

Fifita needs Folkes to get into his ear and tell him to run straight and hard and not crab across the ground.

Brisbane have only had 50 points scored against them so we need to improve our attacking options.

Maybe try Mullaney on the wing and let him have a licence to roam the field and see what he's got. Brown and Ellis are good enough to cover for him in defence.

My team

McKinnon
Mullaney
Brown
Ayshford
Utai
Marshall
Moltzen (stay away from full back)
Fulton (given Heighington will be suspended)
Ellis
Gibbs (great defender and can play 80 minutes if not playing prop)
Fifita
Farah
Galloway

Bench

Dwyer (not to be used as prop. Can play second row and let Gibbs move to prop)
Woods (if fit to play) (prop rotation)
Payten (still has plenty to offer after an ordinary game. The guy has played over 250 NRL games) (prop rotation)
Josh Davis (can play in the backs and forwards) only needed for 10 minutes as per Sheen's policy.

There is a reason that Mullaney is playing fullback and not Meaney. Mullaney is a better fullback. Fullstop.

Actually Meaney was moved to 5/8 specifically to develop his ball playing skills and to increase his utility value. Sheens wants all fullbacks ideally to have ball playing in their repetoire.

He is in front of Jake by a fair gap in terms of NRL at this point but Sheens hopes Mullaney will be a ready option going forward with a fraction more size and defensive ability behind him

UP THE MIGHTY TIGS! :sign:

If no Mckinnon leave brown @ right centre & give Mullane a go @ fullback & fulton in for rheino who has got a week, & hopefully big keefe is back.

Has Murdoch been training properly with First Grade squad, or is he too injured. Question marks over match fitness also obviously.

lets rock.........

In light of the new injuries to Tigers players and Heighno likely to sit on the sidelines this week:

1\. McKinnon (if fit), otherwise Mullaney (big punt but his defence is no worse than Moltzen's at the moment and his support and positional play is better)
2\. Latu
3\. Ayshford
4\. Brown
5\. Utai
6\. Marshall
7\. Miller
8\. Gibbs
9\. Farah
10\. Galloway
11\. Dwyer
12\. Ellis
13\. Fulton

14\. Moltzen
15\. Woods
16\. Fifita
17\. Moors

Are Woods and Sauce right to go or are they under injury clouds? Who else can we bring up to fill for Rhino and Todd?

Is Fulton right to go? What about Ben Murdoch?

1\. McKinnon
2\. Latu

14\. Moltzen/Fulton

16\. BMM (is he back?)
17\. Moors (hows he been playing?)

Who knows?
We think we might know tomorrow at about 4.30 but like last week there''ll probably be four or five changes to the Tues named team
Not even gunna try guessing what'll be trotted out tomorrow
