the problem is talent scouting skills. buying established players shows no skill at all. tim sheens has that talent. who ever let jac, papenhuzen etc go is the cause.

Anybody else nervous about the bulldogs game ?

I'm past nervous. I've said for weeks now that I can see us losing both games to the Bulldogs and I still think that way. You need spirit to win and we have next to nothing in that regard.

It’s been death by a thousand cuts this season - put the bandaids away.

And if we win who is starting the thread that it is still mathematically possible for us to make the Top 8 .....

I get that and Im just an armchair expert I know... he obviously see's something different at training that we don't because again I feel like any other coach would probably run with the above but for some reason he doesn't.

If he is seeing something different at training all year, what he is seeing isn't showing on the field. So I don't know why you still wouldn't just run with the above as worst case you're either going to get the same results as we have been all year.... or you benefit from letting these players (who are our future) actually play in the positions that suit them best.

I really respect your opinion TV,but I also think that Madge would know 100 percent if these young guys are ready or not for the rigour of NRL.,,remember he wants a development pathway to be successful,the last thing he would want is kids hurt,embaressed and lose their confidence..just my take on the situation and by the way Im just as keen to see these guys in action,just not at their peril because they have been pushed into it...

I agree with this. He is playing Cini on the bench because he can go slot in at fullback and Mbye becomes utility should there be an injury anywhere. Why not just start with what you said? There was going to be a reshuffle anyway with Mbye going to Hooker or just in case there’s an injury? I get the the thinking but I thought there was a better way around it.
