Ok, so if this is our best now, or close to it. What happens when Reynolds is fit. Can we carry a 2nd 5/8 (Benji / Josh) on the Bench ?If so, who drops off ?

I see what you did there Harvey. Play 3 in the second row, give two of them the same number and hope the ref doesn't notice. A cunning plan !

I'd go with this side.

I think we go unchanged. If anything, then as most have said Aloiai for Rochow just because he offers a lot more at his best.

I really like Taylor starting the first 25-30 mins and Liddle taking the rest of the game. Liddle will be fresher than the middle third guys and will avoid a lot of the hardest hits early on in the game. Taylor can then slide into the pack or on an edge and continue to do the defensive work and act a third ballplayer.

I think it's going to be Benji or Reynolds - I only have room for one of them in the team. Reynolds has never been anything special to me as a player, but Benji needs to pick things up after that good start. He needs to persist with the bombs - they've been huge for us early in the year, enough with these field position kicks from our 40 on 3rd tackle that achieve nothing.

I feel Eisenhuth is starting to get underrated a bit around these parts. He does a very solid job defensively, helps with our line-speed and makes a lot of good decisions. As a runner, yes he's slow and not a very damaging runner, but his workrate is a major asset and his ability to act as a ball-playing front rower is crucial to a lot of our movements too. Watch our attacking structures - by virtue of his size he practically draws 3 in to tackle him and a lot of his quick balls out the back are what gives Brooks the space to get on the outside of his man and create overlaps where we generate a lot of yardage. It's very similar to the role James Graham played for the Dogs and is doing now for the Dragons, just not quite at the same level.

No rochow. Yeh thats fair enough., Hes been quiet last 3 weeks or so. Put Ailoia in. Looks good to me.

not a chance of happening , ivan dropped aloiai for a reason, plus rochows defense is better.

Correct. Aloiai is very, very overrated.

Same team as last week.

Same team again for me.

Rochow is a good defender and a 100% player.

At this stage Aloiai and Chee-Kam are not. imo

Good defender? His proposed replacements have their limitations but if Aloai, MCK or McQueen can’t earn his spot soon we have to recruit a replacement he is a weak link in the team. Also the plod factor with Eiso on the field together is not ideal.

Aloiai was very very powerful through a big Warriors pack yesterday…

Penrith's pack are just as big..

These bastards are worse than Melbourne in being offside at every play.
Be prepared for a very frustrating night from Penrith and whoever the ref is

In saying that /\ I wish we could have Marshall coming off the bench this week… I predict a lot of crossfield stuff from him due to their linespeed*
If his minutes were limited I think he could pose a danger but I fear him getting frustrated for 80

*offside

Your spot on about that. His lack of patience in the last few weeks reminds me of a 23 year old. Not a 33 year old 250 NRL player.

Rochow gives away stupid penalties and adds little in attack. Eisenhuth, well that s been discussed but he is totally useless in attack.

Kev looks like he is in Fiji still. Will be interesting to see what happens there. He was attending a family funeral.
