Talau looked a lot better playing at right centre. Hopefully the competition will improve BJ. BJ also may be less willing to get suspended if he doesn't want to give Talau the chance to look good in his preferred position.

BJ is going to have to put in a big off season if he wants to play FG he won't be able to give AJ Talau Mbye Momo a head start could be another Jrey or Rusty in the making.

With Talau, AJ, AD, Momo and Mbye all options at centre, does anyone think BJ could make a good edge back rower? His partnership with his brother would remind me of the 03 panthers when the hair bear brothers (puletua and galuvao) dominated. In fact, Galuvao transitioned from a centre in 02 to a back rower in 03. BJ has a similar body shape, weight and height. Just a thought.

**Front Row:** I want to see Musgrove starting next year with Tamou. Musgrove hit hard last night and did well despite the lack of match fitness. Aloiai and Twal leave a lot to be desired at times. Twal should go back to the prop rotation.

**Second/Back Row:** Move Garner back to the left edge with Brooks. No idea why this was changed. Garner is a much better player when he doesn't have to babysit both his half and centre. I don't know what to do with the right edge and lock. Luciano should definitely be in one of those positions, and McIntyre and Blore should share the other role.

**Hooker:** Start Liddle and rest him from 30-50 minutes with Mbye. After 6-7 rounds, blood Simpkin via the bench.

**Halves:** Brooks and Douiehi.

**Centres:** Talau and Leilua.

**Wings:** Kepaoa and Nofoaluma

**Fullback:** ? (we need to sign somebody)

Talau looked a lot more comfortable on the right - That step he put on when Benji put him threw is one of his favourite moves to put on, close to the line he cuts through that whole and goes the either way. Its great to watch. He couldnt do that over on the left because its not his strong foot. He will be a great asset for us in the future.

I don’t think we should give up on Twal too easily. I assume he’s been playing injured. A good offseason and I suspect we’ll get the ol’ Twally back.

Twal averaged 107 meters per game in 2019
First 5 games of 2020 he averaged 124
Last 6 after he came back from injury 88

He used to make a lot of runs and was our best defender, I am also assuming he has not fully recovered from an injury.

It's hard one to account for given we'll probably announce up to 4 more players. I'd like to see another hard running prop added to the squad along with a backrower. We do have some solid units that could have given us a glimpse if Jersey Flegg went ahead but we'll have to wait until next year to get a better idea of the junior talent.
