Your team vs Cowboys

I'm pretty happy with how Wakeham has gone this year, he is steady, gets us around, kicks ok, is making his tackles and kicks goals.

However i think it's time we try Laurie. He will take the line on and his running game is strong and unpredictable. I think he will throw doubt into the opposition which can open it up for Bula.

We have so much sorted, we can all see it and we can all feel the change, we just have to start scoring 3 to 4 tries a game. Laurie is worth a shot.

Because Wakeham is actually a get things moving 7, not a finishing 7.
Don’t know why Sheensy won’t swap 6 and 7.

I would swap them definitely but it's only to stop the comments about Brooks being more a 6 than a 7. In the game they are going to play the same way.

I think @king_sirro said it a few weeks ago we need a ball playing lock. We have two attacking threats in API and Brooks (most wont agree) Wakeham is just a distributor and Bula god love him doesn’t have those skills yet. We need another point of attack or ball playing. Not sure if that is Bateman or Matamua but we need to try something. Centre is also a problem, Talau can run hard but offers nothing else. I noticed in the KOE highlights Reilly score a good try with footwork and speed, might be worth a try for some creativity. Would also bring Blore back in.

Thanks for the shout out mate. Funny, I was thinking today about our attack and kept coming back to what Hastings did for our halves when at lock. We really need a dominant 13. I'd go as far to say, that a smart ball playing lock combined with a classy 6 or 7, and we can win the comp.

Hoping there's no rash decisions in terms of the team. Tupou has been really good since coming into the side, and is continuing to do so and should cement his spot all year. Starford has stepped up. I would like to see Matamua get a run on the bench.

It would be awesome if the NRL gave us Klown for this game to commemorate last year's Round 19 rort. LO would be rocking with "Klown is a wanker" and "give us our points back".

I would almost consider breaking my self-imposed Brooks Boycott to attend. Seeing the little fella sent for an HIA by his 200 game banner would be another highlight.

Idk why people aren't giving us a chance vs the Cows, we have been better then them this season. Just need to keep Valentine out of the game and limit his impact.

How have we been better than them?
We’ve been in last place since round 2
They’ve had 3 more wins, with 2 less losses than us.
They are 4 points ahead of us on the table with a bye in hand.
We are a fair way behind them with points scored.
They are also on the up with 2 very good wins in succession.
If we win, it will be an upset.

Unless we are going to see more offloading, the side definitely needs something different from the 13. I don't mind whether Bateman takes the role, or at least Matamua on the bench, just something different.

Not saying Pole needs to go, as prop rotation is an option for him.

Most of the team pick themselves given we don't have much quality depth !
Bloody hell how does our cup side lose when they were 20+ pts up
However we have one glaring weak spot that must be fixed that is left center because in general our left side is a defensive liability and has been all year . Whats the answer ?
Honestly don't exactly know for 6 months on this forum I've been saying we must recruit a classy center. .Thats not going to help this weekend . I guess they pick Naden there if fit
He seems to have brain explosions and gets penalised or 10 in the bin
If not Naden its also not Tommy T or AJ who is a reasonable bench forward better than Joffa who I would not pick
I would try someone from "left field" at left center Matamua

A player to accidentally collide with Kyle Feldt, who ends up in sin bin for professional foul.
From the penalty wests tigers score and win the game.
That's all.
