Santi - looked reserve grade in parts and keeps making errors. can only carry so many young guys making errors. He will get his chance later.

Jason Taylor - Needs to accept some of the blame for some below par individual and team perfomances. The halves were going better under Potter and the bench had impact. The players especially the halves look confused. Maybe he needs to give them more license and less direction.

Noufo - reserve grade until he has a run or two

If we seriously want to build this brooks, moses, tedesco spine we need to get off their back. Of cource there going to make mistakes there still kids.

What's does this bring to the side. does it warrant to a starting spot??

In 20 minutes, that is pretty decent out put.

He is pretty effective in the tackle and runs the ball well, he is a solid player.

Barring injuries we will see the same side assuming Lodge is unavailable.

Personally Id bring in Taupau to the prop rotation, bringing in Liovale onto the bench at the expense of Buchannan.

In JT I trust. He knows the side better than any of us, he has also has set their KPIs. Personally i'd leave the side he had for souths, bearing injuries. I am intrigued to see what he does when Nofos back though. Anyway, that's why he gets the big bucks and we all sit here trying to play Super Coach for keeps.

I would love to see Akaoula given another crack. In saying that I have no idea what his current form and or attitude has been like. Just think given time he could be something special.

With Richards now likely to be missing and Woods in doubt, I've made a couple of amendments. The bench is lacking experience in Liolevave and Graham (if Woods is out), but in light of Lodge being injured, I think this is our next best option.

I've opted to leave Santi and Brooks out this week. Drinkwater is playing very composed and smart football at the moment, plus he's probably just as good if not better than Richards when it comes to goalkicking and his general kicking is better than Brooks at the moment, as is his passing game from what I've seen.

Can't fault Santi's effort but against the Dogs we need some size in the pack and Buchanan has a high workrate and is a solid defender around the middle. I'd be inclined to use Akauola and Liolevave in the second half as impact players with around 20 to go.
